In The Last Stand, Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the sheriff of a small town on the Mexican border that must stop a heavily armed drug kingpin and his henchmen after the extreme baddie breaks out of prison and makes a run for Mexico. If you're wondering how an extremely muscular dude with an Austrian accent ends up the sheriff of a podunk North-of-the-Border town, Schwarzenegger's character has a back story: He's a former Los Angeles cop who departed the force after a bungled police operation left his partner crippled. It is Christmas in August when Summit Entertainment releases more photos from the final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn - Part 2. And it just so happens that one of the photos depicts Bella (Kristen Stewart), Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Renesmee, the half-vampire progeny of Bella and Edward rocking around the Christmas tree with some, um, traditionally human appetizers. Apparently, the half human side of Suri, I mean, Renesmee still digs Ritz crackers and Hershey Christmas Kisses. I'm guessing the summer sausage is for Jacob. Okay, so enough about the holidays. Let's just get to the pictures, which you can find after the jump. Breaking Dawn Part 2, which reportedly will have at least one big plot surprise that does not follow the book from which its adapted, opens on Nov. 16.
This trailer's worth a look just for the scenes with Christopher Walken at the 1:45 mark. He stars as "Hans" in Martin McDonagh's upcoming dog-napping caper, Seven Psychopaths, and there's something remarkably satisfying about watching Mr. "More Cowbell!" refusing to acquiesce to a shotgun-wielding tough-guy (played by Zeljko Ivanek) as if he were engaging in a sixth-grade playground stand-off. more »

Since early 2011, Movieline has been wondering when Lady Gaga would have her Desperately Seeking Susan moment, and finally it has happened.
The Huffington Post reported that the Fame Monster will make her movie debut in splatter-film specialist Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills. Gaga will play a character called La Chameleon in an oddball cast that includes Charlie Sheen, Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez.
A poster depicting Gaga's character, which will soon be adorning the bedrooms of alienated teenagers everywhere, depicts the bare-shouldered pop star holding a smoking gun and wearing what appears to be the pelt of a white wolf around her. more »
Having replaced one-time star Jessica Chastain in the Princess Diana biopic Caught in Flight, Naomi Watts was photographed on the set of the now-filming project, and the resemblance is... uncanny. Maybe it's just the layered period blonde perm or the boxy sensible suit 'n' tights, but Watts looks to have slid quite fittingly into the skin of the late Princess of Wales, who embarks on a torrid love affair with Pakistani-born heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan (played by LOST's Naveen Andrews) in the '90s-set drama.

Total Film has the first look at Idris Elba in Guillermo del Toro's alien invasion flick Pacific Rim, for which he built -- and destroyed -- replica sets, kaiju style. Elba stars alongside Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day and Rinko Kikuchi in the mecha-epic, which pits robot-piloting humans in battle against interplanetary monsters.
