The Twilight film franchise may have worked its way through Stephenie Meyer's books, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's over. Just watch my red-carpet interview with Elizabeth Reaser at Thursday night's New York premiere of Breaking Dawn — Part 2. The actress, who plays Esme Cullen, suggests that there may be more life in store for this undead saga. more »
Screams of elation, excitement — and at one point pure, unadulterated horror — echoed down through the rafters at the Nokia Theater last night as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II premiered to crowd of well-heeled industry guests and legions of Twi-hards, all craning for a glimpse of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who were in attendance alongside dozens of their Twilight co-stars.
Hollywood suits and fans alike seemed taken with the action-packed Twilight finale, which concludes the billion-dollar film franchise with a polished touch, new faces, a welcome dash of humor, and more than a few fan service moments dedicated to Bella and Edward's bloodsucking marital bliss.

Here's something to add to the pile of things in life that'll make you feel old: Green Day's new music video for "The Forgotten," their single from the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack. You read that right: The punk rockers, who once repped a generation of slackers with songs about masturbating and smoking weed, are now in bed with Twilight.

It is Christmas in August when Summit Entertainment releases more photos from the final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn - Part 2. And it just so happens that one of the photos depicts Bella (Kristen Stewart), Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Renesmee, the half-vampire progeny of Bella and Edward rocking around the Christmas tree with some, um, traditionally human appetizers. Apparently, the half human side of Suri, I mean, Renesmee still digs Ritz crackers and Hershey Christmas Kisses. I'm guessing the summer sausage is for Jacob. Okay, so enough about the holidays. Let's just get to the pictures, which you can find after the jump. Breaking Dawn Part 2, which reportedly will have at least one big plot surprise that does not follow the book from which its adapted, opens on Nov. 16.

Did we mention it's Comic-Con time around here? The geek pheromones are out of control, up to and including Wednesday night's Breaking Dawn - Part 2 event that brought Twilight players Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone (among others) to San Diego — which is where Movieline pal Grace Randolph caught up with them to discuss everything from rookie vampires and the joys of... worldbuilding. Watch for yourself.

If you were to condense the plot of November's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 into ten expository seconds for the uninitiated, it would go something like this: Aww, a vampire baby! Is she a monster? Ack, the scary Italians! Which is what the ridiculously short teaser trailer released today covers, in a nutshell. Who needs a full two and a half minutes when you can get all the vital information in the time it takes to say "Watch Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in a teaser for a trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2?"

Oh hey, remember Twilight? That book that was a movie that spawned a gazillion-dollar franchise before The Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey made you momentarily forget about sparkly vampires? Come on, admit it: You are going to miss The Twilight Saga when it's over — especially the delectably, heavily airbrushed countenances of the films' Big Three stars, glowering out from an eternity of repackaged DVD/Blu-ray sets, Twilight fan cruises, B-action notoriety, story-driven nudity and whatever else awaits beyond the horizon. I know I am! Forever, indeed. That is a very long time. I can barely finish this post conveying the new Breaking Dawn - Part 2 character posters, it is all so wrenching.

There's nothing terribly sensational here to get excited about in the first two official stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, except for -- ZOMG! -- a certain pair of blood-red vampire eyes staring out at us amidst the smoldering looks and pale prettiness on display. And the almost surreal perfection of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner's complexions. Fun fact: Twilight's vampires not only sparkle in the sunlight, they never have to blink. Hit the jump for images!

Run, little deer! Run from the sultry, nubile vampire on your bushy tail! Taylor Lautner may attempt to fool you into thinking she's normal, but you can see past that in her swift stride and blood-red, undead gaze. She's right around that tree, little deer! Run for your life!

Kristen Stewart should finally get to have some fun this November in Summit's franchise-ending The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, which sees heroine Bella Swan finally blossom into the hot lady vampire mom she was always meant to be. A new teaser reveals your first full look at Stewart as Vampire Bella flexing her new superpowers, making out with Robert Pattinson, worrying about the hordes who want to kill her baby -- you know, the usual new parent routine.

Bill Condon rang Movieline today for a special early chat about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One, and while the full interview will post soon, we've got a snippet to whet your appetite. Between talk of vampire weddings and critical expectations and such, Condon shared a particularly fond memory of the time when, during filming of an epic battle scene from the simultaneously-filmed Breaking Dawn Part Two, the guy from The Fall led his entire cast in an impromptu flash mob dance-off to the sounds of the Eurythmics. Hear the tale after the jump!
