Channing Tatum as Superman, Will Arnett as Batman... in LEGO Movie

LEGO Movie Batman Superman

Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller made names for themselves with their feature debut, the animated Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, before moving on to direct Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in the live-action hit 21 Jump Street. As they work up their next film — WB's live-action/CG blend LEGO adaptation, apparently titled Lego: The Piece of Resistance, based on the plastic toy building blocks — the duo are casting a few familiar superheroes to appear in the pic.

WATCH: Bane Destroys Basically Everything In Latest Dark Knight Rises Trailer

The Dark Knight Rises trailer

WB has delivered a final-final trailer in advance of The Dark Knight Rises' July 20 debut, filled with more explosions and Bane-shots than ever before! Watch as Tom Hardy hangs by his fingertips to an airplane seat, cool as a cucumber, as chaos erupts around him. Listen as he (almost-intelligibly, even!) calls out Bruce Wayne/Batman before tossing our hero's broken mask to the ground on his way to lunch. It's all in a day's work for Hardy's Bane, who's come to Gotham City to kick ass and chew, uh, scenery with frail Christian Bale and catty Anne Hathaway. And guess what he's run out of? Ass! No, wait. The other way around.

VIDEO: Texas Cops Let Sick 7-Year-Old Play Batman For a Day

Batman's Codpiece and Catwoman's Butt: Equal Opportunity Ogling from The Dark Knight Rises [UPDATED]

The Dark Knight Rises

Oh...my...GOD, Becky -- look at Catwoman's butt. Ahem. In a new promo image from The Dark Knight Rises, Anne Hathaway poses as Catwoman and shows, as many salivating fanboys have already suggested, just why the Batman sequel might've earned that PG-13 for "sensuality." But wait! Why is everyone talking about Catwoman's butt and not Batman's meticulously sculpted-but-jaunty rubberized codpiece? Equal opportunity for costumed cosplay ogling after the jump, thanks to two new promo images for the July tentpole.

My Heart Will Go On — But Not For These 9 Other Unbearable Theme Songs

My Heart Will Go On — But Not For These 9 Other Unbearable Theme Songs

Kate Winslet broke a PR commandment earlier this week while promoting the release of Titanic 3D: She dismissed the movie's Oscar-winning theme song, claiming that Celine Dion's overplayed ballad "My Heart Will Go On" makes her "feel like throwing up." Citing the inescapability of fans serenading her with the massive hit wherever she goes, Winslet's sentiments are understandable. Frankly, I heard that song enough times 15 years ago to never hear it again, no matter how riveting and powerful Dion's vocals are. To say that song never once gave you chills is probably a lie. But be that as it may, the song hasn't given anyone chills since post-Oscars April 1998, when we'd all had just about enough of it. All we have left for it now is just a reflexive groan of antipathy.

Holy Car Porn: WB Hosts Batmobile Orgy for Dark Knight Rises

Batmobile

Because Bruce Wayne's sweet ride gets everyone's juices flowing (well, except for that Adam West-era number, which doesn't do much for me), here's something for the Batmobile lovers out there, taken from a Batman event Warner Bros. hosted last week for The Dark Knight Rises. Arranged for a bonus feature on the July sequel's eventual Blu-ray release, WB gathered all 5 Batmobiles from TV and film in Burbank, to be paraded down the street and ogled by adoring fans for the first time in public. Aww, yeah. Pull down the shades and start salivating to the sexy sounds of Danny Elfman's Batman score, y'all. It's a Batmobile orgy.
