TMZ reports that Kiowa Gordon, the 21-year-old actor who plays Quileute tribe member (and Jacob BFF) Embry Call in New Moon, Eclipse, and the Breaking Dawn chapters of the Twilight Saga, has been arrested in Tempe, Ariz., "for an active warrant stemming from a drug paraphernalia possession arrest in 2010" when he was busted for having a marijuana pipe and drinking a Four Loko while underage. Tsk, tsk young shapeshifter! The Wolf Pack (and fellow Mormon Stephenie Meyer, who recruited Gordon to the franchise from her own church group) should be none too pleased... [TMZ]

The Twilight Saga of the stolen sex scene footage rolls on! Today, after alleged footage pirate Daiana Santia of Argentina held a press conference to defend her name against accusations that she stole intellectual property from the unreleased Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn production, Summit Entertainment hit back in press release detailing the copyright infringement they say Santia committed and their months-long efforts to get her to cooperate with investigators.

Today, after four months of investigation, Summit Entertainment released a press release identifying the young woman who allegedly stole photos and video of Bill Condon's unfinished Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn back in March and leaked the images and screen grabs on the Internet. The investigation spanned four continents and the studio has filed civil action in two countries and criminal action in one. But enough with the boring legal details! Notorious Boston gangster Whitey Bulger, who partially influenced Jack Nicholson's character in The Departed, will get his first post-arrest big screen close-up courtesy of Twilight star Peter Facinelli. The actor is producing an adaptation of Street Soldier: My Life as an Enforcer for Whitey Bulger and the Boston Irish Mob, written by former kickboxing champ and Bulger enforcer Edward MacKenzie, AKA Eddie Mac.

About three years ago, in the same year he landed the gig directing the second film in the Twilight film franchise, Chris Weitz fell in love with a script about a poor illegal immigrant and single father chasing the American dream in East Los Angeles. Entitled The Gardener, the project would feature no stars, shoot on location in gang-affiliated L.A., and would never in a million years enjoy a hundred million dollar opening weekend. Chris Weitz's L.A.-set drama A Better Life features no stars (well, its lead is 'the George Clooney of Mexico') and no vampires, but it got a profile boost Tuesday night when two of the stars of Weitz's last movie, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, made a red carpet appearance in support of their former director.
