Gleebasing: The Rachel Berry Train Wreck Extravaganza

Last night's episode of Glee, "Blame It on the Alcohol," was not just -- as Will Schuester would call it -- an "elaborate booze dream." Schue did in fact drunkenly ride a mechanical bull and line dance with McKinley High's brute football coach. The New Directions did projectile vomit a purple drank-derivative during a school assembly performance of Ke$ha's "Tik Tok." And finally, Rachel Berry did make out with a gay dude while wearing a pistachio- colored housecoat. So steel your stomachs, dear Gleebasers, and join us below for a more detailed recap of last night's inebriated events and a pop quiz!

Late Night Highlights: Watch Andy Richter Do a Great Natalie Portman Impression In This Black Swan Skit

Last night, Conan O'Brien continued his Oscar nominee tribute week by reenacting a scene from Black Swan: Andy Richter played Nina Sayers, the troubled ballerina portrayed by Natalie Portman on-screen, and O'Brien played the predatory ballet instructor. Elsewhere, Amy Poehler flicked off David Letterman and his TV audience, Owen Wilson made fun of his own son's name and Jimmy Fallon hosted a Fever Pitch reunion -- just like you had been hoping for.

Was Sarah Palin's Alaska Really the Worst Reality Show of the Year?

We're not much for Razzie-style hatefests 'round Movieline HQ, but the second-annual Bennie Awards -- a roundup of the worst in primetime television -- brings up an important point: Was Sarah Palin's Alaska sincerely a terrible reality show? One so bad that it deserved bottom honors under the moral depravity of this year's Bridalplasty and Bad Girls Club? Let's sit on our rifles and think about it.

Late Night Highlights: Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter Act Out Inception

Conan O'Brien celebrated President's Day by acting out a scene from this year's Oscar nominated film Inception with the help of Andy Richter and a prop gun. Elsewhere, Ed Helms explained the finer details of onscreen nudity, Cobie Smulders and David Letterman talked about Garbage Island (and not The Avengers), and Stephen Colbert argued that prescription meds can't turn you into a gay sex addict.

Kat Dennings to Play One of Two Broke Girls for CBS

Here at Movieline HQ, we're unabashed Kat Dennings supporters -- and speaking for myself, that means even the atrocious-looking Thor will probably get my disposable income -- so the news that the Nick and Norah star is potentially headed to weekly television glory is a great way to close out the week. Dennings has been cast in the Michael Patrick King/Whitney Cummings-produced CBS pilot Two Broke Girls as Max, the broke-r of the two lead females who work at a Brooklyn diner while trying to raise cash for their big business venture. Sounds like How to Make It In America but awesome. [Deadline]

10 Things To Look Forward To In This Weekend's Documentary, SNL: Backstage

As you may know from my writings around these parts, yes, I have a (perhaps unhealthy) fondness for Saturday Night Live. It's the three-week, midseason stretches with no SNL -- like the one that we're currently in -- that sadden me. I am a delicate flower! Oh, heavens, what will I write about? And behold: Along comes this Sunday's SNL: Backstage -- a two-hour documentary that purports to chronicle the show's 36-year history from behind the scenes. I have seen SNL Backstage and I'm here to report that it is good... but it could have been a lot better.

Is Glee About to Take On Sarah Palin and the Tea Party?

Glee executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck may be shifting their attention to an FX project called American Horror Story this April, but for now it looks like the pair will be tackling another kind of American horror story on an upcoming episode of their Fox musical series: Sarah Palin and the Tea Party. Exclusive casting details ahead.

American Idol Hollywood Week: God Bless None of These Children

Hollywood week wrapped up last night, but most of the auditioners left the Kodak without fielding a word of terrible scrutiny. Let's fix that! I'm going to be ruthless. When you destroy the classics of Ray Charles and, uh, Bobby Brown with your snarly showboating, I nominate myself to hurt your feelings. Onward.

Which Glee Cast Members Have the Best Shot At Being Movie Stars?

With I Am Number Four unspooling at theaters around the country (and in IMAX!), Dianna Agron becomes the first Glee star to graduate from McKinley High School to the silver screen. Four isn't Agron's maiden voyage into the world of film -- she had small roles in Burlesque and The Romantics last year -- but it is the first high profile movie appearance from any Glee star since the show exploded. Will Agron be the biggest movie star of the New Directions bunch? Ahead -- using nothing but common sense, speculation and bit of wishful thinking -- Movieline counts down the ten Glee students most likely to succeed.

Late Night Highlights: Andy Richter Finally Destroys Watson the Supercomputer

After a widely reported win on Jeopardy, Watson the Supercomputer stopped by Conan one last time to mock Andy Richter about bedding his wife -- only it did not end well for the game show victor. Elsewhere, Stephen Colbert vacuumed with a naked model on his back, Jason Sudeikis talked Justin Bieber, Jenna Fischer explained her college arrest and Craig Ferguson opened his show with a rabbit and a robot because he can.

Can You Honestly Tell the Difference Between Glee and Kidz Bop's 'Tik Tok'?

This Glee show that Julie likes is out of control. It's unfunny, witlessly tone-shifty, and a pox on this Golden Age of Television that keeps happening. Also, the "music" is scathing! Case in point: In the musical preview for next week's episode, we hear the show's clear-best character Brittany lead Ke$ha's "Tik Tok." Compare that rendition to the Kidz Bop Kids version and tell me if there's really any difference (besides the awesomely kid-friendly lyrics).

Could Ryan Murphy's New FX Project American Horror Story Be Good For Glee?

Just two days after Fox aired a mediocre episode of Glee entitled "The Comeback," co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Fulchack have announced their own comeback. The pair are returning to the network's cable offshoot FX -- where they created Nip/Tuck -- to film a mysterious pilot called American Horror Story. While no details were given about the subject matter of the project -- other than the fact that the hour-long drama will begin production in April -- we here at Movieline HQ think that the diversion might actually be the perfect remedy for the creators of Fox's tired musical series.

American Idol Hollywood Week: We're a Grown-Ass Group!

Telegram from Hollywood Week: Those old contestants you've seen sing already? They can still sing. Really! Signed, Nigel "I Only Care About Lauren Alaina Anyway, Lol, Not Joking" Lythgoe. Group week gave us little to hope for in terms of newer, breakout stars, but here are the four most memorable performances (for better or for worse) of the night.

A Candid, Emotional Interview With Watson, Jeopardy!'s Winning Supercomputer

As you've no doubt heard by now, a computer named Watson scored a runaway triumph in this week's Jeopardy! IBM Challenge, defeating two of the game show's most legendary champions -- Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter -- en route to a $1 million prize. (IBM will donate the winnings to charity.) But the road to victory was not without a few sizable bumps, and in an exclusive chat this morning with Movieline, Watson discussed some of the difficulties encountered on his way to the finish line -- and how his real challenge begins now.
