WATCH: Here's An Epic Movie Supercut of Lionel Ritchie's 'Hello'

Ah, supercuts. Sometimes done well, too often not, the art of the pop culture-mashing video meme rarely achieves such simple brilliance as it does in this version of Lionel Richie's "Hello," as pieced together from scraps of movie dialogue here and there. It's like an alternate reality fever dream in which John Cusack's Being John Malkovich puppeteer, Elvis, Neytiri, Tippi Hedren, Gandhi, and Borat (to name a few of the folks immortalized herein) come together to record a cover of the soul-searching 1984 slow-jam.

VIDEO: Guess What's Wrong With This War Horse

It's been a long awards season talking about animal performances and the variations therein -- from Uggie's full-blooded canine craftsmanship in The Artist to Andy Serkis's arguably Oscar-worthy performance-capture efforts as Caesar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. And then there's Joey, the eponymous equine stud of War Horse, played by roughly a dozen or more different horses over the course of Steven Spielberg's epic. But there's something strange about the one recently revealed in some War Horse test footage.

Chill, Broseph: Watch Daniel Radcliffe Speak American in SNL Promos

Harry Potter star (or, as Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis dubs him below, "Sex Wizard") Daniel Radcliffe will step up to host SNL this Saturday, so to prepare for the big night he and Sudeikis shot a promo video teasing the hilarity to come. "Are you doing a character? Like a chimney sweep?" Sudeikis asks upon hearing Radcliffe speak. "Can you do an American accent?" With a resounding "Chill, broseph," Radcliffe shows that yes, he totes can. Watch the erstwhile Harry Potter speak bro and wax poetic about Mountain Dew after the jump.

Finally, Transformers, Grease and Wings Share a Parade Float

This year represents Paramount's 100th anniversary, an occasion commemorated with traditional splendor and aplomb at Monday's Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. There, the 'Mount wheeled out a float you kind of have to see to believe -- a bright, broad floral mash-up marrying the studio stablemates Wings, Transformers, Grease and Star Trek, all surrounding the classic Paramount arch. Thoughts?

It's Double the Scarlett Johansson in New Russian Avengers Trailer!

Back in October, Marvel released the first trailer for Joss Whedon's superhero supermovie Avengers, which will feature Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). My only complaint with the first trailer was that it didn't give enough screen time to Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, whose role in the preview seemed to be limited to Sexy Background Extra in Black Spandex. Now, a foreign trailer finally gives Johansson's Black Widow -- one of the only females in the male-dominated superhero industry -- an actual speaking part. The only problem... is that here, the lines are in Russian.

In Honor of Sinead O'Connor's Hilariously Weird Marriage, Here's Her Hilariously Weird Cameo as the Virgin Mary

Thank you, Baby Jesus, for the blessed month of December 2011, because it's given me the greatest gift of all: Sinead O'Connor's renewed relevance. The Irish singer was married less than three weeks ago to drugs counselor Barry Herridge, and already she's releasing cryptic press statements about the reasons they're divorcing. I guess marijuana is part of it? And a courtship that felt like "living in a coffin"? I don't know. But I do know that Sinead O'Connor's most hilariously bizarre moment has nothing to do with quickly nuptials -- it has to do with a 1997 film in which she played a foul-mouthed Virgin Mary. Know it?

Watch Meryl Streep's Friends Campaign For Her Oscar... During Her Kennedy Center Tribute

Last night, during the 34th Annual Kennedy Center Honors telecast, Meryl Streep's friends feted the honoree in grand fashion. There were video montages introduced, touching anecdotes told, funny memories recounted, musical numbers performed and splits done in her honor --  by Robert De Niro, Mike Nichols, Stanley Tucci, Emily Blunt, Kevin Kline, Anne Hathaway and Tracy Ullman (who co-starred with Streep in Plenty). It was an epic ode to the actress's "superhuman" onscreen ability -- one, that after ten minutes of increasingly heaping praise, began to feel like one of the most elaborate Oscar campaigns to date.

VIDEO: James Franco's NYU-GradeGate Receives Gory, Hard-Hitting News Animation it Deserves

A former New York University film professor made headlines recently for suing the school, which he said fired him for giving barely present graduate student James Franco a D in his class. José Angel Santana alleges not only racist employment practices at NYU, but also that, "In my opinion, they've turned the NYU graduate film degree into swag for James Franco's purposes, a possession, something you can buy." Burn. Anyway, none of this would matter were it not for the requisite Taiwanese news animation showcasing both Santana's firing and a reimagining of 127 Hours that's quite possibly better than Danny Boyle's film itself.

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum Showcase Their Sorry Dance Moves in New 21 Jump Street Trailer

In spite of our hesitations about a 21 Jump Street film, Movieline thoroughly enjoyed last month's red band trailer for the feature adaptation of the '80s television series. It teased the quippy chemistry of stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in a goofy buddy cop comedy similar in tone to Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller's Starsky & Hutch reboot. But instead of infiltrating motorcycle gangs and Bat Mitzvahs, a new 21 Jump Street trailer proves that this ditzy male duo have a hard enough time uncovering a drug ring in between their afternoon chores and sad dance moves at prom.

VIDEO: A Brief History of Cinema's Leather-Bound Lady Hackers

While the smothering contraption worn by Daniel Craig in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo most definitely bear noting, a few of us are a little more preoccupied with how Rooney Mara's character, Lisbeth Salander, falls in line with the fashions of cinema's best-known female computer hackers. Hint: Pretty well!
