Of the 19 competition films at the 64th annual Cannes Film Festival, at least one has a passing relation to Sucker Punch. That would be Sleeping Beauty, featuring Punch star Emily Browning as a young prostitute whose specialty is taking a bunch of sleeping pills and allowing johns to have their way with her. Thank goodness Zack Snyder didn't think of that plot twist.

Now that they've finally decided on a title, 20th Century Fox has kicked the marketing machine for Rise of the Planet of the Apes into high gear, first with a whopping four-second look at the apes, then with a more in-depth look at the special effects entailed in bringing a bunch of rampaging monkeys to life. Now, here's the full trailer, which has a surprisingly tense and low-key feel to it... well, until that ape attacks the helicopter.

Who can blame Taylor Lautner for capitalizing on his hard-earned Twilight fandom (those abs don't crunch themselves) by launching a teen-friendly action hero career? Marvel as the erstwhile Jacob Black enters Bourne territory, complete with romance, parkour, and existential identity confusion, in the first trailer for Lionsgate's teen action pic Abduction, directed by John Singleton.

Poor Ed Harris. Poor Amy Madigan. Poor WWE Superstar Randy Orton. They're all pawns in the surf-music-laden nostalgia of the '60s in the new trailer for That's What I Am. The coming-of-age movie concerns an eighth-grade boy's formative experiences with change, a wonderful teacher, and an outcast named Stanley whose sad soundbites -- for some reason -- are making me cry with laughter. Let's count up the cliches!

With this rich-girl-summer-fun pop music on a loop in the background, it's tough to figure out whether Dermot Mulroney's directorial debut Love, Wedding, Marriage debut has even the minimum amount of charm, wit or heart required to justify ripping off Nancy Meyers so hard. Or is that even justifiable? Regardless, I can definitely confirm that this film adds another bullet point to Kellan Lutz's ever-growing shirtless-role resumé. But more importantly, check out this amazing convertible scene!

The long, arduous journey that Priest has taken to theatrical release is fairly well-documented (check out Jen Yamato's report on the matter -- and the exciting footage Team Priest debuted at WonderCon -- here), but now that the film is just about one month away from release, all that red tape can be forgotten. Taking its place? Some awesome vampire killing!

Remember the good old days when we hunted Nazi war criminals and looked like Sam Worthington? The Debt laments those times too. Three youngsters (Jessica Chastain, Martin Csokas and Worthington) track down a WWII baddie in the 1960s, and thirty years later their older selves (Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, Ciarán Hinds) realize the job isn't over. This is an updated version of a trailer we saw last July (the movie was lost in the Miramax sale), but hey! New graphics and more Mirren antics!

Everyone, stop what you're doing. Universal has finally released the trailer for Honey 2, the absolutely un-awaited sequel to Jessica Alba's 2003 Razzie-nominated dance flick. It may not have the caché of other studio follow-ups like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 or any of the "stars" from the first film -- but what it lacks in original plot and compelling characters, it makes up for in spirit and sports bras.

After a troubled, 20-year road from script-development to screen, Passion Play is coming to select theaters. Then, just in case you blink, it will hit DVD three weeks later. Word of mouth out of Toronto was that the film was a disaster, and the theater-to-DVD release window pretty much backs that up. But after watching the trailer, I can't help but wonder: Can a film with Mickey Rourke falling in love with an angel played by Megan Fox while trying not to get killed by Bill Murray be totally worthless?

The Olsen twins were busy making ironic kerchiefs out of hundred-dollar bills, so the new teen romp Monte Carlo is forced to star Selena Gomez, Katie Cassidy, Leighton Meester, and Cory Monte(carlo)ith. Let's take a glamorous trip to Paris!

If watching Lars von Trier end the world by crashing another planet into Earth has you down, direct your attention to the trailer for Dolphin Tale. You probably didn't know the film existed before this very moment, but that doesn't mean it won't make you cry tears of happy.

Kirsten Dunst is having some second thoughts about her decision to marry. Sure, as one character notes, she's positively glowing at her wedding, but soon she's in the back room about to cry. Finally she makes the confession: "I'm not really happy." Oh, the tragedy. If only another planet would come and crash into the earth to put her out of her misery! Ah, but have no fear; that hypothetical planet actually is hurtling toward our planet right now, and you know that Lars Von Trier is going to make sure that it collides! Yep, the trailer for Von Trier's "beautiful film about the end of the world," Melancholia, has arrived. Naturally, borderline NSFW nudity lies ahead.

Granted, the joke in this video clip isn't the most laugh-out-loud hilarious street prank ever pulled. All the same, there's something refreshing about seeing a director who at one point dressed up and played ball with all the self-congratulatory excess of the Academy Awards now standing on a street corner dressed as an old lady and asking a passerby about his camel toe. Can you guess the 1999 Oscar Nominee?

Kat Dennings's played "gleefully out-of-control" in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, but that movie seems like a much more benign tale of teenage fervor compared to what's happening in her new movie Daydream Nation. Sleeping around? Seducing teachers? Let's crank up the Rihanna and watch helplessly as this good girl goes bad.

Would you have loved The Fighter more if Micky Ward and Dicky Eklund fought each other at the end, and if Paramount dropped the "The" in the film's title? Good news, then! The trailer for Warrior has arrived to make those improvements -- and it even ignores the Masshole accents. (Which may or may not be an improvement from where you're sitting.)
