Prometheus Viral: Good News! Weyland Industries Is Recruiting

Prometheus viral Comic-Con

Those marketing gurus at Fox are going to make sure you keep talking about Ridley Scott's Prometheus all summer, as a new viral video has been unveiled that highlights, testimonial-style, how awesome it is to work for the good folks at Weyland Corp. The way this scientist chick talks about Weyland's envelope-pushing embracing of new technologies makes it sound like the best corporation to work at since Pixar, only with more semi-feeling anthropomorphic robots running around the place making sh*t happen.

WATCH: Prometheus Viral Wishes Happy Birthday To Michael Fassbender-Robot

The Prometheus campaign's Guy Pearce TED Talk from the future was pretty clever, but there's an uncanny brilliance to this new viral spot that focuses on Michael Fassbender's android character, David. Festival darling Brit Marling burst onto the scene last summer with the sci-fi indie Another Earth (and will be seen in the upcoming fiscal thriller Arbitrage opposite Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon), but her turn as a mysterious cult leader in this April's Sound of My Voice is the more impressive introduction to the charismatic up and comer. Hit the jump to watch the first 10 minutes of Sound of My Voice, courtesy of Fox Searchlight, and see for yourself.

Has Banksy Tapped Keyboard Cat for His Gonzo Oscar Campaign?

Has Banksy Tapped Keyboard Cat for His Gonzo Oscar Campaign?

After a hotly contested debate over whether or not this recent Banksy-themed Oscar mural came from Banksy himself or his Exit Through the Gift Shop subject/protégé Mr. Brainwash -- that is, if they aren't the very same person (duh-duh-duhhhhn) -- comes more evidence that the mysterious Banksy is really just some sort of mad viral marketing genius. Behold: The feline street art expose Exit Through the Pet Shop!
