Trust me. James Franco teaches an ape how to sign, takes him hiking, and then assigns him a time out when he acts up.

Despite being headlined by A-list stars Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, Larry Crowne seems like a bit of a tough sell. After all, it's a recession-tinged comedy-drama-romance about a guy who loses his job and goes to community college to put his life back together. Good times! Or something. Thus far, the trailers for Crowne have been of the "show, show more" variety, but perhaps Universal can just use this video of Tom Hanks interacting and dancing (!) with the hosts of the Univision show Despierta America for future spots, if only because it's awesome. I only today accidentally discovered the trailer, whose accompanying synopsis promises quite the story. Tracy Morgan joined with GLAAD in Nashville, Tenn. to apologize for comments he made in a standup act where he cracked famous jokes such as, "I will stab my son in the head if he is gay." Sundance entry Flypaper combines a bunch of people and things we like: Patrick Dempsey, bank heists, the writers of The Hangover, Jeffrey Tambor, one-liners, Rob Huebel, Ashley Judd, a director of The Lion King, and 'splosions. Seems like a cohesive, yet unexpected marriage of talents. In the trailer from the film -- which premieres on demand July 15 before hitting theaters Aug. 19 -- we watch a robbery unfold and an unexpected camaraderie arise. I'm already calling Dempsey's character McStealy.

It's Red Band Friday here at the Movieline trailer plant, and if the blood, guts, and Kool-Aid commercial splendor of Conan the Barbarian didn't throttle you, surely the new 30 Minutes or Less red band blitz will fill up your senses with oral sex humor. In the loud, fiery trailer, we see impaled heads, decimated torsos, and general blood splatter. Fun!
