Fact: Howard Stern has been trying to remake Bob Clark's '80s teen sex classic Porky's for years. Lesser known fact: A Porky's sequel shot in 2009 by cult director Brian Trenchard-Smith (Stunt Rock, BMX Bandits), designed to possibly never see the light of day, has spawned a strange lawsuit that's currently screwing up Stern's plans. So why exactly is it that we've never heard of Porky's: The College Years (AKA Pimpin' Pee Wee)?

It's only human nature to watch something as loathsome as Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch and worry about what the director will do with Superman: Man of Steel. I get that. Still, despite Sucker Punch's abysmal critical showing and underwhelming opening weekend, I'm even more excited today about seeing what Snyder does with his much-anticipated follow-up. I'd even go so far as to argue that Snyder is the best director for this job -- even more so today.

Denise Richards responded to her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's terribly insulting, unfunny tweet that she's a dog thief who abuses animals with a similar claim: Charlie once took custody of two of her dogs and let one die of malnourishment. Horrible, yes, but this reminds me of two facts: 1) I don't want to see Charlie's name in my newsfeed ever again, and 2) I only want to see Denise Richards' name in my newsfeed if she's revealing great secrets about her five cinematic triumphs. Here are my suggestions.

For the past few months, it was assumed that Johnny Depp would be working strictly behind the camera on Martin Scorsese's 3-D adaptation of Brian Selznick's bestseller, The Invention of Hugo Cabret -- a heart-warming tale of an orphan living inside a Parisian train station. Wrong assumption! Le Parisien snapped a pic of the producer in costume, meaning it looks like Cabret will have at least some Depp. Take a look at the first image of the superstar as M. Rouleau alongside stars Chloe Moretz and Asa Butterfield ahead.

· The mad geniuses over at Rooster Teeth have created a new fake trailer for the fake Michael Bay-directed Angry Birds: The Movie, and... well, it certainly looks like something Hollywood might attempt. Only, where are the explosions? And the American flags waving in slow motion? Michael Bay, this is not. This looks more like Simon West to me. Randy Quaid may have over 80 credits listed on his IMDb page, but these days the Oscar-nominated actor is better known nowadays for his fugitive lifestyle and cuckoo-bananas conspiracy theories. All of that could change, however, if Star Whackers -- the "highly experimental" documentary that Quaid and his wife Evi just announced -- is well-received when it premieres next month in Vancouver.

The buzz surrounding Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar keeps humming for many reasons -- Larry Cohen's complaints aside -- not the least of which being the hot and heavy make-out scene between Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer. But what movie has the potential to be the next J. Edgar (in the same arm-stretching reach-y way that J. Edgar is the next Black Swan)?

"She's even thinking that Alex could star in the movie with her," said a source. Right. Yankee Haters ™ shouldn't get their hopes up for this one just yet -- but then again, maybe they should. It would be awesome. [Daily Express]
Oh, dear. It seems that you decided to ignore popular opinion and spent your hard-earned money on Sucker Punch over the weekend (or, more likely, it seems that you didn't). Are you mad?
