While there were some substantive changes to the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Harry and Hermione danced, OMG! -- producer David Heyman promises that fans shouldn't expect many variations from the source novel during the big finale on July 15. Except for those marauding desks, of course. And one key character death.

Source Code didn't lead the box office this weekend (congratulations, Hop), but it's not like we can all sit around this proverbial campfire and talk about the layered texture of an animated would-be Easter Bunny that poops jellybeans. So! Click ahead to get the Source Code discussion started in detail (that means spoilers). For reference, you'll be allowed to stay longer than eight minutes.

NYT critic A.O. Scott went to Detroit and all we got was this devastating truth about Charlie Sheen's catastrophic live debut -- and, by extension, the larger Sheen phenomenon in general:

Come recess today, all the kids will be buzzing about how they went to the movies this weekend and became completely enamored with that underdog story of an unlikely royal heir overcoming the odds, even when war reared its ugly head. Yep, Hop totally killed it at the box-office this weekend. But it was also the opening weekend for "the family event of the year!" So, how did the brand new, PG-13 version of The King's Speech fare?

Unlike that clever, slightly creepy commercial for the Lots-O-Huggin' bear that popped up on the internet on the eve of the Toy Story 3 marketing blitz, no one's going to mistake this over-the-top Cars 2 viral video for a legitimate ad. If the hammy acting and the not-so-subtle use of CGI don't tip you off, the fact that a user named DisneyPixar posted it on You Tube still give it away. But if you play ball anyway, you'll get to see a minute of new footage from Cars 2!

At the age of 19, Logan Lerman (The Patriot, Jack & Bobby, Gamer) has been acting for over a decade and later this year will take on the most iconic character of his career -- one of the most recognizable heroes in literature, even: D'Artagnan in Paul W.S. Anderson's Three Musketeers. Lerman made his first trip to WonderCon with footage from the October 2011 3D action pic in tow and sat for a quick chat with Movieline about Anderson's insane-looking take on the Alexandre Dumas novel, the reportedly in-the-works sequel to Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and a little-known YouTube user known as monkeynuts1069.

In San Francisco to present his upcoming teen assassin thriller Hanna at WonderCon, director Joe Wright threw a few pointed barbs toward Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, calling out the film's brand of scantily clad feminism. Speaking exclusively with Movieline, Wright elaborated on the subject, tracing the "alarming" brand of sexually-exploitative girl power found in Sucker Punch back to the Spice Girls.

Well, they've still got Dumbledore, at least. In a cast interview at the Apple Store in SoHo, David Thewlis revealed that JK Rowling told him that Professor Lupin was gay in The Prisoner of Azkaban but changed over the years and fell in love with Tonks. I cringe at what hay homophobes will make of this, but I figure stranger things happen in the Potterverse. If he changed into a werewolf, why can't he also change into a breast man? I look forward to the next Rowling outing where she reveals that Neville is actually an insatiable pass-around party bottom. [@SnitchSeeker]
Despite the star pedigree of Jake Gyllenhaal and the geek cred of director Duncan Jones, sci-fi thriller Source Code was topped by an animated bunny learning the new true meaning of Christmas Easter. At third place was the haunted house scare-em-up Insidious, possibly launching another profitable franchise for the brains behind Saw. Plus, the hotly debated Sucker Punch fell an astronomical 68.1% from last week -- if those number hold, it means it held up slightly better in its second weekend than Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li (-68.5%) but not as well as Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (-67.9%). Your weekend receipts are here.

At an auction of movie props and memorabilia, the pencil and charcoal portrait of Kate Winslet's Titanic character wearing nothing but the Heart of the Ocean diamond necklace is now up for grabs. Expected to fetch up to £10,000, the sketch was actually drawn by James Cameron; he signed it using Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack Dawson character's initials and dated it April 14, 1912 - the day before the Titanic sank. While I unironically love Titanic, if I had to pick a movie prop to hold on to, I'd pick Billy Zane's toupee. It was magnificent. [Telegraph]
We've already given you our favorite three oddball choices to cast as the new lead in the new Jason Bourne-less Bourne sequel, but now it seems like there's another contender on the horizon: busy man about town Jeremy Renner. Though director Tony Gilroy reportedly prefers Oscar Isaac (Blue the pimp from Sucker Punch), Universal is pressing hard for Renner. While Renner is a fine actor and would probably do well enough it, he oughtta take care. Between the Avengers and Mission: Impossible his multi-film series dance card is filling up quickly. We love you Jeremy, but beware the Jude Law Ubiquity danger zone! [/Film]
New theory: Immortals director Tarsem Singh (excuse us, visionary director Tarsem) is the honey badger of film directors. In an unprecedented move Saturday in San Francisco, the filmmaker behind such films as The Cell and The Fall stole the hearts and minds of WonderCon attendees away from Cowboys & Aliens helmer Jon Favreau -- and mind you, Favreau is so popular that he has his own entrance music ("Back in Black," natch). So how did visionary director Tarsem bring the house down during the panel for The Immortals, a 300-styled movie he described as "Caravaggio meets Fight Club?" Hit the jump for highlights from TarsemCon.

When it comes to conventions, Jon Favreau is nothing if not a man of the nerd people. Mindful of how much he owes to the Comic-Con faithful for jump-starting early word of mouth on the Iron Man franchise, he came to San Francisco this weekend with a treat: Nine minutes of footage from Cowboys & Aliens cut exclusively for the WonderCon audience, including a special reveal of the film's big, bad aliens -- aliens that Favreau otherwise intends to keep under wraps.

Movieline caught up with future Superman Henry Cavill Saturday at WonderCon, where he's scheduled to present footage from his upcoming Greek hero pic Immortals. More on his turn as the mud-speckled Greek hero Theseus to come; first, Cavill divulged details of how he's currently training to become the Man of Steel, how he's shaping his Supes body differently from his ab-tastic Immortals physique, and how his inner geek comes out as costume tests progress.
