Executive producer Marc Fiore told TMZ that Lindsay Lohan will not appear in the feature film because her contract demands were a bit too excessive. "It just didn't work for me." Lohan was initially rumored to star as Victoria Gotti in the film, which is down a director following the departure of Nick Cassavetes earlier this week. [TMZ]

The cast of Adam Shankman's '80s musical adaptation Rock of Ages won't stop growing. The director has confirmed that Catherine Zeta-Jones is in final negotiations to join the production as the villain of the movie -- a character that was not part of the stage production, but was created recently to "streamline the stories." The actress -- who won an Oscar for singing and dancing in another film adapted from Broadway, Chicago -- would star with Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Diego Boneta, Julianne Hough, Paul Giammati and Mary J. Move over, Jake Sully. 3-D Sex & Zen: Extreme Ecstacy -- the "the first stereoscopic 3-D erotica from Hong Kong" -- grossed 2.78 million Hong Kong dollars on its opening day last week, breaking the record held by Avatar for single-day opening gross in Hong Kong. "We met people's expectations," said producer Stephen Shiu. "People have always thought that you need 3-D technology for this kind of content. So people were very curious."
