Optimus Prime Gets A Glowing Sword in Transformers: Dark of the Moon IMAX Poster

Questionable Poster Day rolls on! Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the latest upcoming film to debut new marketing artwork on this historic Wednesday -- though the good folks at Paramount must have missed that "questionable" part. This brand new IMAX poster featuring Optimus Prime looks all sorts of bad ass. Cue the Inception horns and click ahead to look.

See Sacha Baron Cohen Brandish Starter Pistol on Set of The Dictator

You've seen the first official photo of Sacha Baron Cohen as the lead character in his upcoming comedy The Dictator, "a heroic tale about dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed." And now, photos from the New York set have emerged of the actor waving a starter pistol at his fellow cast members as they film a track scene. Take a look after the jump.

Let's Decode the 'JCM' in New John Carter Poster

It's Questionable Poster Day here at Movieline! Hot on the heels of that not-so-good poster for Straw Dogs comes an equally not-so-good poster for John Carter. The 2012 Disney adaptation of the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs featuring John Carter (a Civil War veteran and not John Carter of E.R., FYI) recently dropped the of Mars from its title, but the poster makers apparently weren't aware of that fact. Kinda. Click through for the first look.

Will Alec Baldwin Discontinue His Awesome Twitter Account?

Bad news, friends: the great Alec Baldwin Joins Twitter experiment of 2011 could be over. "I can't believe I was hacked," he wrote on the social networking site on Wednesday morning. "Very good possibility that this means good bye [sic] twitter [sic]." Nooooo! But, wait, is Baldwin serious?

Is This New Straw Dogs Poster For Real?

Look, there's no point in getting upset about classic film remakes. They're going to happen whether we want them or not, and the odds are stacked enough against anyone who attempts it. We'd all rather they were good or at least carried off with the right spirit. The filmmakers don't need the added challenge of working in the echo of an Internet chorus shrieking defensively about how sacrosanct the original movie is. I even feel this way about Rod Lurie's remake of Straw Dogs, the still-troubling 1971 revenge saga by Sam Peckinpah. Good luck, Rod, don't let us down, etc. But then there's this poster, which is like, really?

Bad Movies We Love: National Lampoon's Van Wilder

Judging by the amount of money spent on The Green Lantern, somebody really wants us to see this kelly-green caper. Unfortunately, I'm done waiting on Ryan Reynolds now that I've already adored him in a scatfest from 2002 called National Lampoon's Van Wilder. Is it a superhero's tale? Not quite. Is it worth $300 million in production and marketing all the same? Yes, because I believe the price of dog ejaculation humor should be nine figures.

Little Dakota Fanning Is All Grown Up, Almost, in Suggestive New Marc Jacobs Ad

Let's take a closer look at little Dakota Fanning's new ad campaign as the spokesmodel for Marc Jacobs' latest fragrance, Oh, Lola. On the one hand, the 17-year-old Fanning has been preparing us for this moment for years, what with her increasingly mature film roles of late (a lesbian make-out with Kristen Stewart in The Runaways? How edgy!). On the other hand, is anyone ready to see Dakota Fanning in a suggestive pose with a flower in her crotch?

Watch Ferris Bueller's Life Get Depressing in Last Day Off Spoof

In Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, Matthew Broderick's title character famously says, "Life moves pretty fast. In a new Atom.com sketch, New York City-based comedy trio Sidecar Comedy toys with that concept precisely by seeing how the John Hughes character would fare in the modern world. Check out the only Ferris sequel you'll need ahead.

Read Director Michael Powell's Gushing Letter to Martin Scorsese About an Early Draft of Goodfellas

The legendary British director Michael Powell (The Red Shoes, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp) had been friends with Martin Scorsese for over a decade by 1988. Scorsese idolized Powell, and it appears that reverence was reciprocated in a letter Powell sent regarding an epic Scorsese-penned script that would be released two years later as Goodfellas, the same year Powell died. Dig this amazing find.

'It Might as Well Be YouTube': Jaleel White Casually Trashes Tyler Perry

You might have missed it through all the smoke and scorched earth of the film's opening weekend, but Jaleel White appeared as a banjo-playing teacher in Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. That got White an audience with VanityFair.com, where the actor wasn't about to regret or apologize for his run as one of the most notorious TV child stars of the '90s. Not only that, but guess what? According to White, they don't make them like Family Matters any more.

Talkback: Do You Think Stuntpeople Should Have An Oscar Category?

Earlier this year, Vin Diesel boldly told the Los Angeles Times that he "wouldn't be surprised" if Fast Five garnered "Oscar talk" this award season. While the fifth Fast and Furious film won't be winning any statuettes for its acting this lifetime (sorry, Vin, The Rock and Ludacris), it might have a legitimate shot at an Academy Award if the movie's stunt coordinator Jack Gill convinces the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to add a Best Stunt category.

Watch 'Jesse Eisenberg' Give Advice to Teen Girls in New Funny or Die Video

Oh, man. The only way the Funny or Die video "Staying Positive with Jesse Eisenberg" could be any better is if Eisenberg himself was actually the star. He's not, of course, but comic Scott Gairdner does a fairly great impression of what the 30 Minutes or Less star would look like hosting an advice show for teen girls. "Should I like goth or hip-hop?" asks one of the youngsters hoping for some Eisenberg-y insight. Great question! And plenty more where that came from -- even a music video starring "Eisenberg" at the end. Click through to watch.
