Kristen Stewart Tops Forbes List of Highest Paid Actresses

Kristen Stewart Tops Forbes List of Highest Paid Actresses

And doesn't it make sense? With the final installment of the mega franchise coming out, how could there not be a ton of cash? Notes the publication, "At this point, could anyone else play Bella Swan in Twilight?" Good point! The publication, which dishes out the super rich and famous wealth numbers annually said Stewart made an estimated $12.5 million plus a share of the profits from the mega-franchise in her last two stints on Twilight, but she also made more cash via Snow White and the Huntsman this past year.

Sarah Jessica Parker Replacing Demi Moore as Gloria Steinem

If you were put off by the thought of Demi Moore playing feminist icon Gloria Steinem in the currently-filming porn biopic Lovelace, you have the whip-its to thank for this casting change: Sarah Jessica Parker will now step into Steinem's shoes opposite Amanda Seyfried's titular Linda Lovelace as Moore recovers and, as a press release delicately puts it, "seek[s] treatment for exhaustion." Fortunately, there are real lessons to be gleaned from the best in New Year's cinema, and we've lined up five movies with tips for your bash this weekend. Which Would You Rather (Not) See: New Year's Eve or Human Centipede 2?

In the brand new trailer for New Year's Eve, Garry Marshall's holiday-themed movie event that promises to give the phrase "ensemble romantic comedy" a bad name, Robert De Niro wonders what could possibly beat "New York on New Year's Eve." I'll tell you what: Not throwing all of your actorly credibility out the window confetti-style to appear alongside Zac Efron, Jon Bon Jovi and Ludacris in a movie that features Ashton Kutcher trapped in an elevator with the annoying girl from Glee. You know what other moviegoers might also consider better than seeing Garry Marshall's vision of NYC on New Year's Eve? Tom Six's Human Centipede 2, which inspires similar nausea but for different reasons.

Bad Movies We Love: Sex and the City 2

Bad Movies We Love: Sex and the City 2

I don't know how Sarah Jessica Parker does it, but a lot of her movies are staggering shit fortresses. Failure to Launch? Did You Hear About the Morgans? This weekend's I Don't Know How She Does It? The Family Stone? That movie made me feel like Diane Keaton's cancer, and it's still a Mensa candidate compared to today's Bad Movie We Love: the epic, Tropical Skittle-colored trek to Abu Dhabi, Sex and the City 2. It's so famously bad that its bad reviews are famous. It's the movie that asks the question, "How can we save a franchise that has devolved into materialistic fetishism?" and answers it with, "JEWELS." Cheers, girls!

A Guide to Exactly How Sarah Jessica Parker Does It in Every Chick Flick

In this week's new chick flick I Don't Know How She Does It, Sarah Jessica Parker -- she who had sex in the city, a bastion of modern female fabulosity and our generation's go-to, couture-sheathed screen heroine in heels -- attempts to solve the plight of the 21st century woman once more as Kate Reddy, a wife, mother of two, and financial analyst for a high-powered investment firm trying desperately to juggle "it all." How many times do co-workers and colleagues ask her how she "does it?" A lot. That's how much she's doing. But it's not the first time SJP's put her plucky feminine know-how to use in the movies to solve the routine problems of the modern woman.

Dolores Fuller, Ed Wood Ingenue and Elvis Songwriter, Dies at 88

Let's all take a moment to remember the late Dolores Fuller, the B-movie actress whose soft angora sweaters brought out the best in filmmaker boyfriend Ed Wood. Portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker in Tim Burton's Ed Wood, Fuller starred in Wood's early films Glen or Glenda, Jail Bait, and Bride of the Monster, and later enjoyed a successful career as a songwriter.
