After casting pretty much all of the characters (with the notable exception of President Snow, still yet to be announced) Lionsgate and director Gary Ross revealed their choice to play District 12 stylist Cinna, the kindly primper who helps Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) in The Hunger Games. Say what you will about Lionsgate's slow trickle of a casting roll-out, or director Gary Ross and novelist Suzanne Collins' choices -- Elizabeth Banks might just be the most perfectly chosen member of the Hunger Games cast thus far. Tweeting today to confirm her official involvement, Banks' enthusiasm leaped off the Twitter page as she quoted her soon-to-be onscreen alter ego, Effie Trinket.

The young star of this week's 3D underwater actioner Sanctum, who plays a 17-year-old cave diver trying to survive and get along with his estranged father, moved to Los Angeles last week, has already worked with the highest-grossing filmmaker of all time (executive producer James Cameron), and, like a pro, has learned to keep mum on the high-profile scripts he's got piled up at home.
