The overall box office weekend was nothing to brag about, with titles falling in the top 10 having the second worst weekend of the year. The overall top 10 only took in just over $65.36 million of which the top two titles, Resident Evil: Retribution (3-D) and Finding Nemo (3-D) accounted for $38.6 million, meaning the bottom 8 only accounted for about $26.76 million - ouch. Though not in the top ten, but with far fewer theaters compared to their studio brethren, the real story goes to The Master, which set a per-screen average record of over $145K in its roll out. And Arbitrage placed in the top 12 with a $10,506 average in just under 200 theaters.

Ides of March co-star Evan Rachel Wood hit the late night circuit last night to push her latest, George Clooney's political thriller Ides of March, by talking to Jimmy Fallon about... her recent bout of Bieber Fever. Sure, why not? She plays an eager 20-year-old in the film, after all. And in grabbing the mic to perform an impromptu version of Justin Bieber's "Baby," Wood kills two birds with one stone by pimping both the Clooney-Gosling Oscar hopeful AND the concert doc Never Say Never. "Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?" Insert "piles of The Lion King 3D cash" for "stuff" and you'll see why Disney's planning to roll out even more retro hits in similar fashion in the next few years. Why leave those catalogue classics in the vault when they can bring in as much as $80 million more a pop?
