Sarah Silverman Has Her Revenge on Lost-Loving Ex Jimmy Kimmel

Sure, Sarah Silverman may have broken up with Jimmy Kimmel ages ago, but why should she let him have all the Lost-hogging fun? Before Kimmel gets to host his "Aloha to Lost" special this Sunday following the series finale, Silverman interviewed the show's creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse for Funny or Die, asking important things like, "I couldn't help but notice that you're both huge f***ing nerds. Do you think that informed the writing of this show?" Oh, Sarah. Don't you know that every question will just lead to another question?

Still No Ghostbusters Sequel, But How About a No-Budget Remake?

The egos, age, money and cynicism thwarting any reasonable hope for Ghostbusters 3 clearly have a lot of people down. Just look at the sullen group of New York Public Library visitors in the video after the jump. What they need -- what we all need, really -- is a little reassurance that our appreciation isn't misplaced. And as if on cue, it seemed to walk right through the front door.

Chris Klein's Mamma Mia Audition: Real, Fake, or Really Fake?

Move over, sexually ambiguous sixth grader wailing "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga! This week, Chris Klein may take your viral video crown. The Election and American Pie actor is the star of an excruciating new YouTube video that purports to be his audition tape for Mamma Mia!, and it involves a level of singing and cringing not experienced since The Comeback went off the air. At Movieline HQ, we're split over whether the video is a put-on or not -- I'm leaning toward "fake," but even so, I don't know what to do with this information. Maybe he just wanted to be a trending topic on Twitter for once?

Got 16 Minutes? David Lynch and Marion Cotillard Want to Sell You a Handbag (VIDEO)

There's good news and bad news about Lady Blue Shanghai, the latest short film in Dior's Lady Dior campaign featuring Marion Cotillard. The good news: It's a 16-minute effort directed by David Lynch, which means, regardless of its content, a new David Lynch film has arrived. Rejoice! The bad news: It really, really wants to sell you a handbag.

Cannes-ibalism: Check Out the Trailer for the Fest's Best Mexican Flesh-Eater Movie

We told you not long ago about Rubber, the Cannes title about a homicidal radial tire on the loose in the California desert. Here's another juicy morsel from this year's program to tide you over until something more palatable (or even more ridiculous than Rubber) is served on the Riviera.

Michael Musto's The Hollywood Kid: Stiller, Swayze, and Some Scandalous Secrets

After a workweek like this one, couldn't you use a little industry gossip to jolt you back to life (and to give you something to discuss over drinks this weekend)? Our Hollywood Kid, Michael Musto, is only too happy to oblige, with dish on Iron Man 3, Patrick Swayze's final project, and an intriguing collaboration between Elton John and Ben Stiller. As always, Musto closes things out with a pair of delicious blind items, and I'd hazard a guess on the Craigslist-trolling actor if I felt like I had a better lawyer. Enjoy!

Knight and Day's New Ad Strategy: Watch Tom Cruise Get Kicked in the Stomach

Remember when Tom Cruise jumped the couch on Oprah, and suddenly, all these Flash games sprung up online where you could hurl tomatoes at the star, punch him at the face, or otherwise abuse him to your heart's content? Well, the marketers behind Knight and Day must be going for that same demographic, as they're pushing a new viral video where Cruise's costar Cameron Diaz brutally kicks him in the stomach during a "stunt rehearsal."

Will Ferrell's Minor League Career As Short-Lived as Land of the Lost Remake

Once upon a time, Will Ferrell was the kind of the sports comedy, but who needs a $40 million budget and a greenlight from stingy old Paramount to get started anymore? Instead, Ferrell took to the to the actual minor leagues yesterday night to debut his new creation, minor league pitcher Rojo Johnson.

Michael Musto's The Hollywood Kid: Renée, Kim, Trannies, and a Blind Item

In this week's installment of The Hollywood Kid, our natty host Michael Musto weighs the careers of Renée Zellweger and Kim Cattrall, brings word of a "tran-quel" to the controversial Tribeca feature Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives, and ponders one provocative blind item about an award winner with a racial peccadillo. Please let it be Taylor Swift! (Note to lawyers: It is not Taylor Swift.)

Sean Young's Amazing Dune Home Movie Features David Lynch, Sting and Cast of Dozens

Need a palate cleanser from the horror of viral Piranha marketing? I have just the thing for you, and from a pretty unlikely source as well: Sean Young has quietly issued a collection of Super-8 movies she filmed on the set of David Lynch's megabudget 1984 fiasco Dune. If you happen to be a fan of Lynch, Young, Kyle MacLachlan, Sting, Patrick Stewart, Max Von Sydow, Linda Hunt, Francesca Annis, or, like, vintage anything, you'll probably want to see this.

Rubber Teaser: Spend 37 Seconds with the World's First Homicidal Tire

Summer movie season has got me down, son. Down, like Hollywood pushed me in a shallow grave onto which every studio in town quickly shoveled whatever hype they'd manufactured to date. Suffocating, I was reincarnated as a Johnny Cash song. Stifling! Until this morning, when the French stepped up their game with 37 seconds that took the summer back -- at least until Iron Man 2 opens. But you know what? Even Tony Stark is probably no match for a psychopathic tire on a murder spree.

Michael Musto's The Hollywood Kid: How Bill Murray and Annette Bening Got Nice

Michael Musto's back with a new installment of The Hollywood Kid for Movieline, and he investigates tinseltown matters both naughty (Ridley Scott's tweaking of James Cameron) and nice (reformed press shunners Bill Murray and Annette Bening). Meanwhile, Musto's trying to get to the bottom of the big May Gay Day reveal, too. Will the People cover in question go to an uncloseted actress? Personally, I'm pulling for Sandra Bullock's new secret baby to make it a People magazine two-fer. They come out so young these days!

New Toy Story 3 Star Suddenly Big in Japan

Kids, you're never too young to learn what a "viral ad campaign" is! (Hint: It's something that Susie got because her hippie parents never wash her hair, and now Class Picture Day has been canceled.) Hot on the heels of Pixar's retro-cool ad for a Toy Story 3 stuffed animal that never existed until now, a tipster tells us that Pixar has also posted a Japanese version of that sideways-universe marketing campaign. It's no Mr. Sparkle, but it'll do:

Pixar Goes Live-Action for New Toy Story 3 Promo

How do you feel about sideways universes? For a nation still struggling to piece together whether Sideways Jack is maybe married to Sideways Juliet, and what happened to Sideways Sayid's accent, and what did Sideways Ilana do to get her hair so shiny and lustrous, the new Pixar viral campaign for Toy Story 3 may be too much to handle.

Zack Galifianakis Goes Dancing

When it comes to show titles, few rival Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! for both pure absurdity and shocking bravado. Great job, indeed. The Adult Swim staple airs a new episode tonight -- well, technically, tomorrow morning at 12:30 a.m. -- and you should probably set your DVR. Sometime collaborator Zack Galifianakis will appear, along with Peter Cetera (yep, that Peter Cetera), for a skit entitled "Little Dancing Man." And to answer your question: Of course you should watch the promo.
