Movieline's favorite botanical web series, Zach Galifianakis' Between Two Ferns, has issued a new episode that is unfortunately without its hirsute mischief maker doing the MC'ing. Instead it's Zach's twin brother, "Seth," who gets to interview a very sullen Sean Penn and ask the Oscar winner about famous actors like Ryan Reynolds and "Jack Nicklaus." It's all perfectly amusing -- one wonders how it's possible for Penn to stay in irritable character for three minutes! -- and brought to you by Speed Stick. Of course. Click ahead to watch the funny.

How about those Emmy Awards last night?! Despite having a giant middle chuck filled with boring boredom -- this just in: Temple Grandin won another award -- the show was briskly paced, loaded with surprises and really kinda fun. Part of the reason for this was Jimmy Fallon, who proved fairly adept at hosting, even if he should have dumped the unfunny Twitter introductions before they even started. No matter, though: The contact high produced by the ambitious, Glee-inspired "Born to Run" opening number more than made up for any later shortcomings. Ahead, watch the Movieline-approved best moment of the Emmy telecast. Take it away, Jimmy!

News trickled out of Cuba earlier this summer that filmmakers there planned Juan of The Dead, a horror comedy in which the titular hero takes aim at commie zombies with an oar. Humpday isn't exactly the sort of movie that spawns a franchise, but here's the closest thing: The Freebie, about a similar kind of mumblecore couple in comically sexual crisis. It's even directed by -- and starring -- Katie Aselton, the wife of Humpday star Mark Duplass.

Last week, when a fairly funny "For Your Consideration" ad for Piranha 3D hit the internet and then promptly had several of its jokes snipped, some speculated that the Weinstein Co. was afraid of Oscar blowback (thought I'm guessing they realized the four-minute clip was just too damn long?). Consider this the company's rejoinder, then: a new Piranha viral video where Ving Rhames wins a Best Actor Oscar for the film, makes out with Elisabeth Shue, and throws shoes at Brad Pitt. Enjoy!

TBS may not have figured out a title for Conan O'Brien's new show, but they have found multiple ways to promote the network's most anticipated fall premiere without demanding the star's actual participation. The network has already given Conan's likeness an old-timey makeover, claymated him and now, in their most daring marketing move yet, they are presenting his trademark pompadour on a showroom floor (or rotating platter?), for you, dear viewers.
