As soon as Movieline heard that Mad Men's Jared Harris would be playing Sherlock Holmes's archenemy Moriarty in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock sequel A Game of Shadows, we were intrigued. After all, how would the Sterling Cooper taskmaster stack up against the long line of actors who have played Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's criminal mastermind -- including Laurence Olivier, Orson Welles, Henry Daniell, Paul Freeman and Vincent D'Donofrio? We may not have the answer just yet but we do have the first image of Harris as the "Napoleon of Crime."

"Got 2 see 1 of my favorite bands U2 live last night!!!" tweeted Hugh Jackman this morning. "Awesome finish 2 a great day off in TO." Hell yeah! Except, er, why is he so far away from the stage in his accompanying photograph from Toronto's Rogers Centre? Doesn't Wolverine deserve better?

This morning, we learned that Thor star Chris Hemsworth is nearing a deal to play real-life British Formula One driver James Hunt in Rush, a biopic that Ron Howard will most likely direct. In honor of this casting news and Movieline HQ's excitement over the sports film -- which will follow Hunt's storied '70s rivalry with Austrian driver Niki Lauda -- Movieline has compiled ten other actors who have portrayed professional race car drivers onscreen.

Last month, Fox News host Glenn Beck retired the cable television iteration of his talk show and left the airwaves, promising his fans a two-hour online show on GBTV -- his subscription-based Internet network -- and other vague, "exciting" projects that he could not yet discuss. Cue the sinister organ music or Kool & the Gang depending on your mood!

In this week's latest installment of "celebs correct the public record," actress-blogger Zooey Deschanel took to the web to excoriate L.A. Times op-ed writer Patt Morrison for slamming her in an article about Deschanel's allegedly anti-L.A. statements at a star-studded BAFTA reception for the royal newlyweds last Saturday. Note to journalists: If you're going to call someone a "snobby cow," make sure you get their snobby, cow-ish comments right.

As Jason Sudeikis's coke-snorting, kung fu-practicing, pot-bellied new supervisor in Horrible Bosses, which notched an impressive number 2 box office slot last weekend, second to Michael Bay's 3-D robotstravaganza Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Colin Farrell is a revelation of douchebag assholery, the last person you'd want above you in the workplace food chain. (Well, one of them.) But which former gaming world champion deserves credit for loosely inspiring portions of Farrell's characterization -- and could Farrell portray this muse one day on the big screen?

If you were planning a pilgrimage to the View Point Inn in Corbett, Ore. this summer to hyperventilate over the plot of land where Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart shared their prom kiss in Twilight, you might want to make different arrangements. It seems Oscar producers weren't the only people James Franco threw under the bus in his new Playboy interview. "They haven't shown me the movie yet, so I don't know what the result is," Franco said about Rise of the Planet of the Apes. "I did reshoots, and it sounds to me the final movie will be different from the screenplay, which had a lot of character development. The movie seems to be more action now. I went and did my job, and I'm supposed to be a scientist. I feel pretty confident that I did that." [Playboy]
