FCC Indecency Dept. Introduces 5,000 of Adam Lambert's Biggest Fans
Adam Lambert's American Music Awards performance was historic for more than just its prime-time mainstreaming of homoerotica. I think you are just repeating some conservative bloggers "pick a number out of your butt" post. It's the Cheney theory of the bigger the lie, the more idiots will believe it. It wasn't 5000. Reliable sources are quoting 1500. Either way, considering 14 million were watching the show, that's a minuscule number in comparison. But, no matter, however many it really was, it's a sad commentary that there are so many Americans that live a life of fear and loathing. Sex is not the enemy, ignorance is.

Adam was merely "performing" the lyrics to the song. Adam said he was acting out the lyrics and he got carried away. He is used to doing live theatre with only a live audience in front of him. So why is J Lo not banned for her racey New Years eve crotch scene, and where are the complaints to the FCC ove mariah Carey being intoxicated. The premise that is so sad is that the complainers are passing judgment on a man who is a performer. From his performance, they have judged him to be unacceptable to society. Adam, the man, is personally a gracious, loving, intelligent, family-oriented, open, non-judgmental, talented, generous, loyal human being. He is a man I would be honored to have as a friend. My sadness is that I will never know him and can only praise him from afar. I envy all those who get to be in his company. Let's be a little less judgmental and more tolerant of our fellow human beings until we have true knowledge of the real individual.
