Damn, that is so sad. He may have never won an Oscar, but his films were a lot of fun and defined more than one generation of pop culture (I think I might have to find my old copy of "The Outsiders" and watch it tonight).
And, really, can the summer of death just END now that we are half way through September?

  • Allison says:

WHAT? I hope they get a crack team of detectives to figure out what happened- oh wait, hasn't he been dying since Heath Ledger died? Back when the news of celebrity deaths still constituted as news? Whatever will trash tabloids have to report on NOW?

  • Bob Dobbs says:

As opposed to what, Winchester? How you usually watch it with a bottle of lotion and a box of tissue?

  • Nicola says:

Apart from the pleasure you brought during your heyday, Patrick, you showed us the way to think about own on dying. Both you and Farrah Fawcett were the real deal among the glitterati of Hollywood. Thank you. Goodbye. I'm sure you have a place in whatever Heaven is, and can now only hope that your lovely wife can find solace in knowing that she spent so much good time with such a fine companion.
