Set your DVRs this spring to Reelz Channel for a Dolph Lundgren-hosted reality competition show called Race to the Scene, which might be the most potentially dangerous but too awesome not to watch TV show idea ever dreamed up: "Race to the Scene will feature pairs of contestants who race to and from actual movie locations as they compete in challenges and stunts inspired by memorable movie moments... [producer Justin Hochberg] and his partner Charlie Ebersol began talking to the network about the project a little over a year ago, and have since spent time selecting iconic scenes —think Bruce Willis jumping off Nakatomi Tower in Die Hard — for which to recreate." I'm not sure if Uma Thurman's character Rebecca Duvall on NBC's Smash is supposed to be all that convincing as Marilyn Monroe -- the subject of the Broadway show-within-the-TV show, in case you've been living under a rock -- but a sneak peek at next week's episode offers a snippet of Thurman's singing chops and, well... let's just say, it's good to know she'll only be around for a five-episode arc. Yabba-dabba-reboot! Seth McFarlane -- the mad genius behind Family Guy -- has been given the go ahead to bring Hanna-Barbera's The Flintstones back to television in 2013. Deadline reports the deal as having future possible film components as well, so let's just clear the air right now and promise to never forget the abomination that was the 1994 live-action Flintstones movie.
