Never Let Me Go is one of my favorite books of all times, a subtle but powerful story about love and loss and humanity. And even though the movie version was packed with powerhouse actors like Keira Knightley, Charlotte Rampling, and Carey Mulligan, I was still nervous. After watching this clip, I've got no reason to worry -- Keira & Carey, I hope you two are already picking out dresses for the Oscars.

During his radio show this week, Ryan Seacrest had Larry King duet with him on Lady Gaga's ubiquitous smash hit, "Poker Face." Neither one of them can sing, but King gets bonus points (or demerits?) for the lascivious way he scats. Shiver. If you could read my poker face right now, you'd notice a look of outright disgust. Seriously, this is more disturbing than the trailer for Hobo with a Shotgun, and that includes a woman and baby being lit on fire. Click ahead to witness the horror.

Grab the Kleenex. 35-year-old Australian Kristian Anderson was diagnosed with bowel cancer that spread to his liver in October of last year, and as a birthday gift to thank his native New Zealander wife Rachel for supporting him through chemotherapy, Kristian produced a video that includes Hugh Jackman, New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, lots of "Subterranean Homesick Blues"-like poster boards, a Train song called "Marry Me," and their two adorable children. Those with hearts of stone, feel free to click ahead. To the rest: You've been warned.

Movieline's favorite botanical web series, Zach Galifianakis' Between Two Ferns, has issued a new episode that is unfortunately without its hirsute mischief maker doing the MC'ing. Instead it's Zach's twin brother, "Seth," who gets to interview a very sullen Sean Penn and ask the Oscar winner about famous actors like Ryan Reynolds and "Jack Nicklaus." It's all perfectly amusing -- one wonders how it's possible for Penn to stay in irritable character for three minutes! -- and brought to you by Speed Stick. Of course. Click ahead to watch the funny.

How about those Emmy Awards last night?! Despite having a giant middle chuck filled with boring boredom -- this just in: Temple Grandin won another award -- the show was briskly paced, loaded with surprises and really kinda fun. Part of the reason for this was Jimmy Fallon, who proved fairly adept at hosting, even if he should have dumped the unfunny Twitter introductions before they even started. No matter, though: The contact high produced by the ambitious, Glee-inspired "Born to Run" opening number more than made up for any later shortcomings. Ahead, watch the Movieline-approved best moment of the Emmy telecast. Take it away, Jimmy!

Betty White's assault on pop culture has been mostly relegated to possible casting announcements and book deals as of late, but with her Creative Arts Emmy win last Sunday, things have begun to ramp back up anew. White be front and center at the Emmys this Sunday, and she'll follow that up with two September appearances: a guest starring role on the season premiere of Community and a supporting grandma performance in You Again. So, how will White promote those efforts? With viral videos, natch.

Appropriately enough for a Sunday morning, clips from the latest installment of everyone's favorite Jesus-tinged adventure series, The Chronicles of Narnia, have been released. Older siblings Peter and Susan are gone, replaced by their pug-nosed brat cousin named Eustace, who accompanies Lucy and Edmund Pevensie back to Narnia. I'm sure his bratty behavior will lead to an Aslan-led intervention, but I don't know if I can handle two-plus hours of listening to him whinge. Check out the clips and judge for yourself!

4 clips of Robert Rodriguez's new Mexploitation flickMachete have surfaced online, and while the last glimpse we had of Danny Trejo's blade-wielding anti-hero made excellent use of blood 'n guts, these clips are little less gory and show off the impressive supporting cast, including Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba and Robert DeNiro doing his best George W. Bush impression.

What did Lost co-executive Carlton Cuse think was "one of the best parts of season six"? If you guessed Claire's squirrel baby, you're right! What has to be considered the linchpin of this weekend's Lost auction (suggested bid: $300-500) gets its very own special feature on next week's season six DVD release, because it was either that or more Allison Janney footage. Click ahead to get a brief glimpse into the life of Squirrel Baby.

Finally, some Piranha 3D marketing you can enjoy without wanting to take a decontamination shower afterward! What stands a good chance of being the goriest movie of the summer opens Friday and that means Harvey Weinstein is only days away from planting the seeds for one of his patented, "Best Penis Being Gobbled and Spit Out in 3D" Oscar campaigns. Wait, huh?

Because your weekend wouldn't be complete without yet another bit of Star Wars news, there's this: At Celebration V -- an "official Lucasfilm event celebrating all things Star Wars, produced by fans for fans" in Orlando, FL -- a deleted scene from Return of the Jedi has surfaced. As you know, Friday usually brings an abundance of video riches to Movieline, including chief film critic Stephanie Zacharek's on-camera movie reviews. Today, however, Stephanie is doubling up! And why not, considering the exoticness of the pairing: Eat Pray Love and The Expendables (er, sorry, fellas: The Expendables and Eat Pray Love), the estrogen ebb and the testosterone flow for a weekend when anything goes. Much like this video review, in fact. Take it away, Stephanie!

After the initial trailer for Burlesque threw glitter up all over the Internet last week, it's somewhat surprising to see that the first clip from the film is so benign in nature. The musical's biggest selling points -- Cher and Stanley Tucci's eyeglasses -- are nowhere to be found here, replaced instead by Christina Aguilera's booming vocals on "Something's Got a Hold on Me" and a dance routine that feels like Flashdance minus the water. Click ahead to watch, but be prepared to tap your foot in unison.

Here's a fortune cookie-type question for a lazy August Monday: Will Matthew Wilder's Inferno actually exist as a movie or is his Lindsay Lohan-as-Linda Lovelace exploitation-cum-biopic -- ahem -- only a collection of Tyler Shields photographs? Thankfully, some newly released footage helps shed some light on this.

Sometimes, you're locked into a relationship with someone you really care for, yet all you do is fight all the time. Eminem knows. Rihanna knows. You know who else knows? Megan Fox, whose tempestuous working relationship with her Transformers director Michael Bay involved Hitler metaphors and abrupt firings.
