Watch Patrick Stewart Take Things from Zero to Awkward at Warp Speed

If you were blown away by Salma Hayek's overreaction to a slithering snake, then get ready for something even more out-of-hand: Patrick Stewart stone-cold losing it on stage because some fattie dared to put his hands in his pockets, or something. I'm paraphrasing! Still, this Glamour Awards spat between the knighted actor and British comedian James Corden is just so, so cringe-inducing that the writers for The Office might as well hang up their hats, confident it will never be topped. And then Zoe Saldana comes onstage and sells out her Star Trek predecessor! Man, if you need me, I'll have cringed myself into a fetal ball like a sawbug under attack.

Hey, Who's Ready For the New Big Tits Zombie Trailer?

I arrived a little late to the Japanese phenomenon that is The Big Tits Zombie, a 3D grindhouse throwback whose original trailer winked a little too hard at the viewer in April. The new one isn't really that much better, but at least it has an improved and more fully realized sense of vision, narrative and genre. Oh, who am I kidding? This makes George A. Romero look like Robert Bresson (if Bresson were NSFW).

Could AMC's Secret Show Rubicon Be the Next Lost or X-Files?

Looks like the marketing team over at AMC has actually decided to rouse itself and cut together a real, honest-to-goodness trailer for Rubicon, the secret series that will premiere with virtually no promotion after the Breaking Bad finale this Sunday. The good news? It looks like it could potentially fill the clue-assembling void left by Lost and The X-Files.

Mortal Kombat Sizzle Reel Breaks New Ground in Fight Choreography, Reptile Babies

A mysterious short film making the rounds appears to confirm that a new movie adaptation of Mortal Kombat is en route, stripping away the kitschy gloss of the early '90s in favor of a bleak, hyperviolent and aggressively tin-eared take on the classic video-game franchise. Dark Knight-era revisionism aside, there is something this sizzle reel has a combo no other action enterprise can claim: Jeri Ryan, Michael Jai White and deformed reptile babies! [Video after the jump NSFW, obviously.]

Just How Much Directing Did John Hillcoat Do for His Red Dead Redemption Short Film?

How do you follow up a bleak, underperforming, confusingly marketed film like The Road? If you're director John Hillcoat, you get hired by Rockstar Games to make a 30-minute film to promote the new game Red Dead Redemption, using only in-game assets. The short premiered on Fox at midnight last month; now it's online, and...this is basically just a compilation of the scenes that are already in the game? Who knew?

The 9 Best Shots from the Second, Ridiculous Showgirls 2 Trailer

Back in February, we brought you 9 compelling images from the first trailer for Showgirls 2, an unauthorized, insane semi-sequel to Paul Verhoeven's camp classic that appeared to have been cobbled together from B-roll, spare footage of naked ladies writhing around, and sheer chutzpah. Now director Marc Vorlander has released a second trailer (and the film has been retitled to Showgirls Exposed, because duh, copyright issues) and it is so joy-inducing that it made me clap my hands together several times like I was either a seal or Paula Abdul. Let's get right down to it: here are the 9 best stills from this new masterpiece, and then the trailer at the end.

The 3 Best Marketing Moments in The New Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Clip

What a seven days for fans of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Of course last week the fabulous new trailer was released -- along with a new TV spot -- and both seemed to confirm one thing: Fans of the graphic novel series will be head over heels for Edgar Wright's film. Everyone else, well, that was a different story, but Wright and Universal are determined to change that. On the MTV Movie Awards pre-show, the director premiered an exclusive new clip from Scott Pilgrim and it looks perfectly accessible to geeks of all shapes and sizes. So, everyone! After the jump, the three key marketing moments in the clip.

Add Justin Long and Mike White to the Same-Sex Kissing Brigade

Gay kissing! It's only the latest, most popular trend ever! Just ask Sandra Bullock, who'll make out with anyone! Or Jason Bateman and Dustin Hoffman, who've become Hollywood's glam new power couple! Or Christian Newswire, a site that blames the implication of gay kissing for American Idol's most boring season! OK, I'm going to stop using exclamation points now!

The Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Trailer: Twilight

Lest you think the MTV Movie Awards only provided profanity and vagina lights, there was also a new teaser trailer for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. And, would you look at that: Harry Potter's all grown up!

The Flipped Trailer: Stand By Me

It's been a while since a movie trailer was able to use Sha Na Na, The Crystals and The Rascals as irony free music cues, so for that reason alone you should be interested in Flipped. That it could also possibly be a return to form for director Rob Reiner -- legitimate question: when was the last time he made a good movie? -- and will likely make you cry tears of happy are only added bonuses. And hey, is that Aidan Quinn?

The Gulliver's Travels Trailer: Where the Laughs Are Lilliputia

You most likely didn't have high hopes for Gulliver's Travels anyway -- the poster looks like one of those spoof movies in Tropic Thunder -- but goodness is this trailer truly awful. It would be tempting to wonder how far Jack Black has fallen, but since he did star in Year One all bets are clearly off.

VIDEO: Bruce Willis Shows Us How to Buy Vodka, Because Why Not

It's wacky celebrity video day! Mere hours after we all hoisted a margarita to Gwyneth Paltrow's taco-making expertise, here we have Bruce Willis selling Sobieski Vodka for some reason (I'm sorry you didn't get the call, Leelee). It's all part of an advertising strategy that somehow warranted a New York Times profile despite adhering to the decades-old gambit of "Hire celebrity to sell product." Meh. They're no Seagram's wine coolers.

VIDEO: Gwyneth Paltrow Shows Us How to Make Tacos, Because Why Not

In her GOOP manifesto this week, actress/lifestyle icon/aspiring Food Network Star Gwyneth Paltrow includes a video in which she prepares a Mexican dinner, family style. I think we can all agree how it's remarkable that over the course of the six-and-a-half-minute clip, Gwyneth a) doesn't ostentatiously brag about her utter fluency in Spanish and b) actually speak in Spanish for at least half of the running time to demonstrate said fluency. Also remarkable: the amount of baby food and stomach crunches her punishing personal trainer Tracy Anderson will inflict on her for daring to eat an actual meal. Hope it was worth it, GP.
