Hot on the heels of Fast Five's post-racial success at the box office comes the first trailer for Lionsgate's Conan the Barbarian, a suitably metal-scored, sword-swinging affair featuring hunky Jason Momoa as the titular warrior. Coincidence of timing or part of a brave new movement in big, beefy action filmmaking? Consider this: the baddies are played by Rose McGowan and Avatar's Stephen Lang. Ah, fantasy: The great equalizer!

I'd hate for any of us to get ahead of ourselves about next Oscar season when blockbuster season technically hasn't yet commenced, but still: This year's Sundance award-winner Martha Marcy May Marlene made a breakout star of leading lady Elizabeth Olsen in a fashion reminiscent of Jennifer Lawrence a year ago. The trophy-sniffing wizards at Fox Searchlight have it slotted for a prime October release date. You already know you should see it by virtue of its glowing critical response, so there's only one thing to do when watching the film's first trailer, which was released today: Guess the Oscar clip!

Once in a great while a movie comes along that leaves you forever changed. Will the tongue-in-cheek (and in-other places) neo-noir The Big Bang be such a movie? In three new clips, watch private dick Antonio Banderas as he learns dirty porn secrets from XXX director Snoop Dogg, meets James Van Der Beek and his "albino little person" companion, and engages maybe-crazy mad scientist Sam Elliott in a conversation about dropping acid, physics, and God's "magic wand." Right!

The Kathryn Bigelow-directed movie about the death of Osama bin Laden might not shoot until later this summer, but that doesn't mean there can't be a trailer! At least a trailer created by cuckoo-bananas Taiwanese news animators NMA, which makes the planned film look like a cross between Doom and an episode of The West Wing. Not that it won't look like that anyway. Click ahead to watch.

After a sea of topless mermaid posters and some sketchy promotional artwork, Disney has finally released the first clip from this summer's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. It may not include any clothes-poor ocean nymphs or pencil portraits of Penelope Cruz but it does feature Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow as he charms and chandelier-swings his way out of an awkward situation with the King of England and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). Enjoy!

Following the world-altering news that Osama bin Laden was killed on Sunday night, New York Times vice president of corporate communications Eileen Murphy had to do something you only see in the movies. "[B]ecause of the magnitude of the news, the order was given to stop the presses." If that kind of newsroom story makes your heart race, you're going to want to check out the trailer for Page One: Inside the 'New York Times.

It may have been released last year, but I think we can agree that short films about dinner table anarchy and Nazi confrontation are a cinematic evergreen. Lost scribe Damon Lindelof's strange 10-minute romp centers around Dade Klublershturf (Samm Levine of Freaks and Geeks), who brings home his German girlfriend (Rachel Nichols) to bewildered parents played by the awesome Lainie Kazan and George Segal (whose work here is the closest thing you'll see to a hybrid of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Just Shoot Me). Then a pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth joins the fun as a smiley member of the Fourth Reich. Makes perfect sense, no? Watch after the jump.
