Ready For an Ice Road Truckers Movie?

Fox is said to be interested in developing a feature film based on the History Channel reality hit Ice Road Truckers -- or at least that's what director John Moore intimated on Monday. "We'll turn it into a mission movie that harkens back to Towering Inferno, Jaws, or The Guns of Navarone," Moore told Deadline. "You got a problem, go solve it." Indeed, and Moore is the man to do it. Lord knows if anybody has an eye for huge crap sliding out of control, it's the director of Max Payne and that Omen remake. [Deadline]

Eclipse Producer Tricked Into Confirming Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson Romance

By this time, anyone associated with the Twilight saga knows that there's a party line to toe when it comes to questions concerning the much gossiped-about real-life relationship between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: you either deny its existence, or you clam up and refuse to talk about it. Perhaps producer Wyck Godfrey could use a refresher, because a wily Time interrogator was able to get him to speak about it -- at length! -- just by phrasing his question in a manner Godfrey wasn't used to:

Screenwriter Larry Doyle: 'Danny DeVito is a World-Class D**k"

Remember a little while ago, when there was a fun little boomlet of screenwriters biting the hands that fed them? Well now, writer Larry Doyle wants in on that path paved by Dan Harmon (who called his Monster House director a "hack" and Steven Spielberg a "moron") and J.D. Shapiro (who blamed Battlefield Earth on his nutty Scientologist producers). You may already know Doyle as a former staffer for The Simpsons or as the writer of I Love You, Beth Cooper, but now you'll know him as the guy who tore Danny DeVito a new one.

The 9 Best Lines From Harry Knowles's Highly Sexualized Review of Eclipse

Jason Bateman's iPhoneGate Just Won't Die

Yesterday, Jason Bateman tried to blame his iPhone line-jumping on paparazzi who were terrorizing the crowd gathered outside of the Apple Store. Now, several eyewitnesses are coming forward to refute the actor's claims: "There was, at most, one photographer who kept a respectful distance," one bystander told Us, while another added that the crowd was (understandably) very angry: "There was a chorus of boos and then people shouting, 'What?' and 'We've been here for hours!' [...] They escorted him like he was a pretty big deal." Apple, you might want to rethink that Arrested Development app. [Us]
