Olivia Wilde has two very different movies coming out in the next two weeks: one is a high-concept sci-fi thriller (Cowboys & Aliens) and the other is a lighthearted comedy that begins with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman drunkenly urinating into a park fountain and later switching bodies (The Change-Up). There is a common thread that pulls these two projects together, though: Olivia Wilde appears nude ("nude") in both, even though the adventurous actress had no idea that was the case.

Here's your Monday box office update for The Undefeated: Despite gaining 4 theaters over the weekend to push its total to 14, the critically reviled Sarah Palin documentary dipped 63 percent from its opening salvo for an estimated weekend total of $24,000. It wasn't all bad news for the Thrilla from Wasilla, however: in addition to having a higher per-screen average ($1,714) than the fourth and sixth weekends of Larry Crowne and Green Lantern respectively, it was revealed that The Undefeated will soon be able to reach millions of new potential viewers -- and at least a few curious DVD collectors.

It's fitting that on the weekend of Comic-Con, a comic book character took the top spot at the box office. In what could be considered a bit of an upset -- though not really a huge upset -- Captain America: First Avenger easily defeated Harry Potter to win the weekend crown. It wasn't all bad news for the Boy Who Lived: The Deathly Hallows Part 2 grabbed runner-up honors, and continued to plow forward on its way to becoming the biggest hit of 2011. And, hey: Friends with Benefits didn't do too bad either! Your weekend receipts have arrived.

Speaking of The Lizard making a splash at Comic-Con, The Wrap reports that Amazing Spider-Man star Rhys Ifans was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery in San Diego. Ifans, who portrays Dr. Curt Conners a/k/a The Lizard, was on hand among cast and filmmakers yesterday to debut footage in Hall H; apparently, the incident occurred when Ifans "shov[ed] a female security guard" and "insulted" the U.S. prior to the panel.

Not bad at all: Captain America: The First Avenger defied the diminishing returns of this summer's comic-book crop (and its own relatively modest expectations) to claim box-office victory on its opening day. That's not the outcome most of Hollywood expected in the aftermath of last week's Potter-palooza windfall; indeed the boy wizard's final film installment fell dramatically off its record opening weekend pace, with a drop of more than 70 percent foreseen by tomorrow night. Oh -- and Friends With Benefits opened as well. Your Friday Box Office is here.

"Really enjoyed HP7," Simon Pegg wrote on Twitter earlier on Friday afternoon, "and credit where it's due the 3D did an extraordinary job of making everything really dark, blurry and difficult to see." Ouch, Simon! If Pegg thinks the 3-D in The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is bad, just wait until he gets a load of the crappy post-conversion third dimension in Captain America: First Avenger. Quick warning as you head into the weekend: search out the 2-D version. [@simonpegg]
