Girl who was on fire
Odds ever in your favor
Little mockingjay.
The boy with the bread,
Her yellow dandelion,
Sign of hope, always.
Each district must send
A child who must contend
To fight ‘til the end
Posted the wrong version
Each district must send
Two children who must content
To fight to the end
Courage in dying
Burning like battered embers
Foundations fissure
A fev’rish embrace.
A scorching kiss. I’ll save his
life. Do I love him?
I am smoldering.
A spark, a light, I ignite.
This fire is catching.
Only one winner?
The nightlock touches our lips
They do not own us
The Girl on Fire
Against Boy with the Bread
Let the Games Begin
girl and boy from 12
together we can survive
is it love we found?
We did it. We won.
Then I knew. My blood stained hands
will never wash clean.
Crap it's the reaping
Should be sleeping but how
The dawn brings death
Katniss and Peeta,
Star crossed lovers? Enemies?
Who can be trusted?
World engulfed in flames
Who will remember her name
The girl on fire
I am a hunter
If I win this, who am I?
Identity lost.
The boy with the bread,
his life is what I fought for,
my love is real.
I scream out his name,
We can now work as a team,
We will win this game.
Fly like an arrow
The song of The MockingJay
Rebellion Is near
Political game,
More than reputation dies
In a genocide
The wheel of fortune
Spins round and round, the prize: death
Crowds cheer for who's next
The boy with the bread,
he calms my nightmares in bed,
I can't see him dead.
Tufts of golden hair,
Rainbow skin and pricey clothes,
Nothing else is there
A coin in the snow
No matter which one falls first
Mockingjays will sing.
Baker’s bread will burn
Before I leave a grim rose
Panem won’t have her.
War is our laughter
Death is our greatest event
Children are our pawns
Why Peeta or Gale?
Do I really have to choose?
Why can't I have both?
