The Girl On Fire
Fights with the boy with the bread
For life and for love
Precision devine
a goddess of the forest
my arrow in flight
Ascend from the dust,
With weapons and boundless love,
Reclaim dear Panem.
A life for tribute
You have only one to give
Would you be so brave
Hear me now, Panem:
I am your symbol of hope
Call me Mockingjay
I went to save her
But I will have to kill him
If I survive, could I?
Humans, fickle fools
Bread and circuses, again
All this death, for what?
My nation watches,
Eager to hear my swan song.
Prim, for you, I'll win.
I watched her braid sway
Back and forth, hypnotizing.
I will bake her bread.
Kristina, it's supposed to be from Katniss's perspective...
Rachel, that was a suggestion, not a requirement.
My hope has died down.
My fear exudes my being.
I still fight for Prim.
To the Capitol
where death awaits me now, yet
my mind is on boys.
President Snow,
Creepy with his blood red rose,
Run Very Quickly.
Dear President Snow,
I will have my revenge, Love
Katniss Everdeen
This cannot happen,
How could I kill my last hope?
The boy with the bread
My blood is pumping
Tears are streaming down my face
My fate in my hands
Flying through the trees
Just like my sister I see her
Rue will always be there
I hurt all over
But what I'm doing feels worse:
Murdering for peace
Better than "Twilight"
Wry, political and smart
A book for the ages
I would never think
I would have to compete
In the Hunger Games
Heart beating swiftly
Golden cornucopia
Triumph for Primrose
I fight for Loved ones.
I fight to escape the games.
I'm the girl on fire.
Nightlock in our hands
Must save the boy with the bread
together we win
betrayal, deceit.
in the lonely arena
no one really wins.
Sparks are igniting
the Capitol wants revenge
but they don't own me
There’s a falling fool
Wise, witty, and always drunk
Love Haymitch, we do
