And then the crowd cheers.
I'm radiant like the sun,
The girl on fire.
Want one good reason?
This totally owns Twilight.
Woody Harrelson.
Hunter or baker?
The question that can’t be solved
Heart, give me some peace.
Evil Capitol
Makes children fight to the death
Katniss must stop them.
Small glowing ember
Sparks the sleeping blaze within.
"Never surrender."
Haymitch won the games
Now he likes to drink all day
L'chaim! You're alive
I would volunteer.
Though I'm no more than feline,
Prim's my only friend.
Volunteer today
Defeat the games tomorrow
Never sleep again
Berries in our hands.
The arena getting bombed.
Rebels with a cause.
really frustrating that not one of my comments on this page are showing up.
Oh finally. well let's try again for my haiku.
Power in silence+
Looming capitol presence
A dyad is chosen
i made a promise.
i will die with dignity.
cant let my fear show.
a gift from the sky,
hes my key to survival
this is my message
i know i've lost him
the only thing i have left
the pearl in my hand
i remember you
you were singing at our school
the birds fell silent
Gale really likes me
But, I think I like Peeta
The boy with the bread
Hold me in your arms
So memories will escape
Come the morning light
Sharp as an arrow
Live to become a hero
Die as a Tribute
Blood soaked forest floor
These flowers, my tears: your shroud -
Petals as protest
The Still air surrounds us
Their painted faces watching
The Tributes on fire
Whenever we kiss
An intoxicating fire
Burns inside of me
A mockingjay call
Was all that it took to start
The Capitol's fall.
In moonlight the girl on fire
Glowing embers dance
Bow and arrow piercing skin
The reaping is done.
Please do not weep little duck.
I am the Girl on Fire.
Arrows in the sky
Fire, risen out of me.
The flutter of mockingjay wings
