The girl on fire.
Katniss lets her love shine through;
She sings to Rue's death.
If I win, I lose
Lives are gone, boy with bread dead
Let the games begin!
Gale, Peeta, how to choose,
Hunger Games, can't be won, just lost,
What's a girl to do?
Prim rose and fell lost
To the District's wanderlust
Games. Katniss in flames.
My life you have stole
I was the girl on fire
We have survived this
I'm the girl on fire
He is the boy with the bread
Somehow we made it
Cannons tell the tale,
while fear gives way to cunning.
Hope: an arrow true.
You gave Rue a leg.
Mockingjays sing sadness. We
praise the girl on fire.
The jays sing the tune.
To the death of Rue.
Love the girl of fire
restless nights, screaming
bloody roses fill the air
death he watches me
Cornucopia
Filled with weapons to kill me
How will I survive?
A dim fire is lit,
And a bond is formed with bread.
All hunger no more.
Strong. Weak. Sly. Small. Smart.
We're different people,
Fighting in one game.
Conquering shadows
Leaves me but only ashen-
He is my sunrise.
Peeta is the best
Can I trust his love or not?
True love won't kill me.
Desperate to be
More than a pawn in their games
Nightlock's defiance
My sister's name called
It's all happening so fast
No I volunteer
Caged in the darkness
I am free because of you
Your love released me
Not just boy with bread
Or just a simple ally
He keeps me alive
I'm betting on you
So you better stay alive
For Panem, please strive
the hunger games starts
only twelve tributes will live
it is up to me
nightlock in my hand
I am ready to defy
you cannot stop me
His words resonate.
I'll show them. I'm more than just
a piece in their games.
A pond plant to eat,
A girl fighting for justice
for all. The Katniss.
Lay your head and sleep
In this cave you will be safe
Come day: our kiss stays
