Delicate flower
Sent to war, saved by the fire
Of the mockingjay
I love how this poem is about Prim getting picked as tribute and Katniss saving her <3 So sweet
Me, the girl on fire
A pawn of the Capitol
It's time to fight back
Katniss is my name
They want the girl on fire
Yet I live for Prim
Poor Prim, what to do?
Desperation forces love
Peeta, we will live
Rue's four-note whistle.
Flowers surrounding her face.
Three fingered salute.
Katniss saw Rue die
Sang to her a lullaby
Capitol will pay
Haymitch said to me
be brave the whole world will watch
struggle to survive
The games will begin
I'm "The Girl Who Was On Fire"
And the Mockingjay
The government Kills.
You must fight to stay alive,
The Mockingjay lives.
The Capitol rules.
Katniss Everdeen thrives.
Innocent people parish,
but she will not rest.
For she is the mockingjay,
the answer to their prayers.
She will fight back,
no matter what the consequences.
MockingJay, I am
I saved the lives of Panem
A warrior, Forever
I , the mockingjay
The face of Panem rebellion
Fighter, survivor, me
Lamb stew with dried plums.
Rotting roses. Smells like snow.
Cornucopia.
I Can't Do Haiku.
The Hunger Games is tha Bomb.
Please let me see it!
The Hunger Games, yes.
Death everywhere, blood splattered.
I will win for Prim.
Running, scared for you
For my life. No one knows what
Will become of us
Cautionary Tale
Districts: Ninety-nine percent.
Snow: In the top one.
Katniss, dear Katniss
You don't know your own power
But my heart sees it
We seal the pages
Salt water and promises
Make all their deaths count
I am no mouthpiece
I will protect her from them
Words can make a change
keep running further
to stop means death, not an option
I must keep running
Every Sunday
Please keep my family safe
Words she did not hear
doomed to silence
if you do kill the songbird
doomed if you don’t.
Primrose is my wing.
Peeta's my dandelion.
They helped me survive.
The day is dawning;
I hear them screaming to me.
They are my nightmare.
