Friday Box Office: Let's Give Footloose a Hand!
I'm squeaking and bopping like Deniece Williams, because the new Footloose is both critically hailed and a box office success. Kenny Wormald's big debut tops the Friday countdown, leading all newcomers by a significant margin -- especially the not-so-Big Year.

I saw _The Skin I Live In_ yesterday, and wow, that was pretty crazy. I'm glad I avoided reading much about the film and its source material, which normally I might not do but for some reason thought it a good idea with this movie. The audience seemed to be split. As the credits rolled, most of us were sitting in stunned silence; some people were laughing hysterically.
