Today in strange celebrity baby news: Turns out Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda (born in 1989) after the video game princess. That's interesting! And now it's very public news considering the Oscar winner and his daughter costar in a new ad for Nintendo 3DS's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D game. Watch after the jump.
Pretty adorable, though I'd be more impressed if he had a younger daughter named Chun Li, Sonja Blade, or Wendy O. Koopa.

I remember him telling the story on Letterman in the 80s or 90s that they let his young son pick the name and he was the one who insisted on Zelda. So it's been public for quite a long time.

I usually hate when Nintendo has a celebrity on one of their commercials, but when it's f**king Robin Williams, a self confessed gamer, stars in a commercial, I end up re-watching it multiple times...And his daughter Zelda is hot...that helps.
Maybe it's the make-up and camera work but is it me or does she actually look kind of Elf-like as well.
Hard to tell. She hasn't done much acting, so I can't really say if she looks like that just for the commercial or not. But either way, she's more than good enough for my picky ass.
