Cameron Crowe Pearl Jam Documentary Will Debut in September

Good news for Pearl Jam fans disappointed by the fact that they can't make it to Alpine Valley, Wisc. over Labor Day weekend for the band's 20th anniversary celebration. The Cameron Crowe-directed Pearl Jam documentary, Pearl Jam Twenty, will have a limited theatrical run in September before debuting on PBS in October. Said Crowe in a statement: "There is only one band of their generation for which a film like this could even be made, and I'm honored to be the one given the opportunity to make it." Click through for a first look still from PJ20, which shows a young Crowe and Eddie Vedder holding the Pearl Jam state flag.
