I know Michael Hogan isn't a name like Ed (who I like), but he did play Senator McCain in that robot space wars show and this should have been his job. He really could have carried the pathos of the man, who once ran a white glove campaign in 2000, and somehow found himself in the position of running a carnival sideshow in 2008. It's really almost a Sophoclean tragedy we're talking about here, great promise dashed against the rocks by a shrill voiced Alaskan snowbilly, a tale that concludes with Senator McCain sitting on a rock Oedipus at Colonus style wondering what happened to his life.

My pick to play Obama . . . Harry Lennix

  • Christopher says:

Harry Lennix is a BRILLIANT suggestion! He just needs to slim down a little but otherwise, he's perfect!

  • The Winchester says:

With a makeup team that proficient, I'd actually be okay with Fred Armisen playing Obama.
