Meet Sentinel Prime and Rosie Huntingon-Whiteley in New Transformers: Dark of the Moon Images

Sentinel Prime is the legendary Autobot and mentor to Optimus Prime who will be voiced by the legendary Leonard Nimoy in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the winsome Victoria's Secret model-turned-actress plucked by Michael Bay from scores of hopefuls who replaces Megan Fox as Shia LaBeouf's love interest. After the jump, meet them both in new images from the upcoming sequel.

Like what you see? Huntington-Whiteley has a softness to her that Fox somewhat lacked, though who knows if she'll toughen up beyond the lovely fearfulness on display in the first few images. Sentinel Prime is a firetruck voiced by Spock himself. No arguments there.

"I had to ask if there was a mistake that had been made," Rosie said with a smile. "When I was told there wasn't, it was a huge honor."http://bit.ly/iDZ1Bj

Am I the only one who realizes that Michael Bay is a sexist? Transformer fans and others keep saying Fox's acting was horrible in those movies, but what did she have to act with? She had little to no lines in the first 2 movies and was just eye candy to keep the nerds alert. Now he hires a Victoria's Secret model with no acting credits and probably has fewer lines than Fox ever did in the movies. If Bay wanted to prove he wasn’t a sexist, he could have hired a real actress or an up-and-coming actress for Shia's "love interest." Or, Shia could be single this time around, what's so horrible about that? I don’t think Megan Fox is a great actress, she decent, but has been type-casted as the sexy girl with no lines because of Michael Bay.
