Cannes Film Festival Selections Include New Films By Pedro Almodóvar, Lars von Trier and Jodie Foster
As expected, the Cannes Film Festival lineup includes new films from a who's who of modern auteurs including Lars von Trier, Pedro Almodóvar, Terrence Malick, Nicolas Winding Refn and more. But hey, The Beaver is also playing, as is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which apparently clocks in at two hours and 20 minutes, not nine like the trailer suggested. Take a gander at the entire list of selections after the jump.

Can't believe that 'The Beaver' is going to be shown at Cannes. At least they aren't competing, not that it ever stood a chance.
cheerful.....
The buzz is already circulating that Mel Gibson's performance in The Beaver is breathtaking. Lets hope he upsets all those Hollywood condemers by being nominated for an Oscar.
Can't wait to see The Beaver
Let the holier-than-thou crowd get off Gibsons back.....Or he'll get mad as hell 'cause he ain't gonna take it anymore!
