Is This Blake Lively or Chloë Moretz on the Set of Hick?

ChloeMoretzHick300.jpgIt seems like only yesterday (or two years ago) that Chloë Moretz was wearing baseball caps and playing the tomboy kid sister in 500 Days of Summer and now -- well now, the 14-year-old is either cursing and raising pig-tailed hell against her on-screen assailants or running down the street with voluminous hair, six inch heels and a mini-skirt alongside her Hick co-star Blake Lively. Kids these days.

The first set photo from Hick shows Moretz in character as a 13-year-old runaway who flees her meth addict mother (Juliette Lewis) to make it on the streets with a grifter (Blake Lively). Based on the novel by Andrea Portes, Hick comes from Lymelife director Derick Martini, who perhaps told the wardrobe department to do everything they can to make Moretz look twice her age.

Wow, you don't get out much. What Chloe is wearing is quite modest for 14 year old girls today. Maybe I'm mistaken, but i think those are shorts, not a mini-skirt.

??? is how i feel about this whole thing. I'm trying not to clutch my pearls.

Not sure what part of the country you live in, but I have never seen a 14 year old girl dress like that as "everyday" wear. Not even girls on my college campus dress like that (and I attend a large state university); the only time I see girls, college girls that is, dress like that is when it's a night on the town. I haven't read the book Hick yet, so I assume this type of clothing is for her character.

Her brother, who you can see on the right, said in a Tweet that that isn't in wardrobe, which I take to mean that's Chloe's outfit. Which would be odd since I've never seen her in anything like that. Though I also believe those are just shorts, not a skirt.

Thanks for the clarification. Seems like Ms. Moretz shares the same fashion sense her character has when escaping to Las Vegas. To be honest I like the shorts.
