ThunderCats Trailer: Nostalgia Trains are Go.

I'm on the cartoon throwback beat today, so it seems only right to follow through with the new trailer for the upcoming Thundercats prequel series. Observe young Lion-O!

Yes, ferocious felines are posing like they've landed a wartime cover of Cat Fancy, and that's just how it should be. But let's talk about the more extraordinary feature here: the younger, blither Cheetara! Billed recently as "the original Thundercats ho," she shines here as a somersaulting cat with more personality than most of the African grasslands. In fact, I'm always delighted with Cheetara's blend of carnage and intelligence. This show should just be called The United States of Cheetara. I want to see her raise a family in the corn belt and cope with her inability to stop whooping ass.

There's not a single thing here for ThunderCats purists to dislike. I could see wanting more Panthro, but I'm sure the series will rectify that. I'm aboard for more brushes with the bo staff. Are you guys?
