Wonder Woman Get-Up Now Slightly Less Sexy Halloween Costume
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. released the first photo of Adrianne Palicki in NBC's Wonder Woman reboot, and her get-up looked a lot like a sexy Halloween costume you could buy at Ricky's NYC. Fans weren't too pleased, however, and the network has since given Adrianne Palicki a more modest costume. Sorta. Take a look at Wonder Woman's new gear after the jump.
Note the roomier and latex-free pants. And red boots! Now that is a costume that you could really fight crime in. You could probably still trick or treat in it, too.
Who is Adrianne Palicki, you ask? Click here for a brief history of your new Wonder Woman.

Sorry, this re-make will not be a must see for me. Hate the costume. Loose the long pants for starters.
LOL!! I thought the same thing.....LMAO!!
costume sukks!! Dont fix what is not broken!!! what r they thinkin!!!! will not see it as is..
I don't know, I kind of like the idea of Woman wearing vinyl while she's beating the hell out of me. LOL
You also seem to want Wonder Man.
I think, we should reconsider about wonder women custom. This is a 21st century, and we have so many females in sport; boxers, MMA fighters, body builders, and more. Not to mention that there are a lot of them are very beautiful, sexy, talented, and look real. Why don't do some research about what type of outfit would make them comfortable when they wear it and still can do what they do.
I am not saying that we should totally re-design the wonder women outfit, but saying that make it more believable.
For instance, a type of sports bar would be more suitable for fighting. The rubble sole of boot or high ankle shoes would be more suitable to move, run, jump, and kick. Just ask those female fighter in the sports, man.
What about the real Wonder Woman, Linda Carter. She was the dream of ever young man.
She is pretty hot.
The costume is ok, it is the top thats bad, it should be brighter red, and the gold should be metal, like armor.
the braclets are correct silver, to represent when the amazons were slaves.
the Leggings are ok, like the comic book.
would be better if the deck her out in the armor and the sword and shield, better looking costume but I guess to scary.
She should play this role with nothing on... Daddy like
she should wear the original outfit like w/o the pants. this new version sucks
You said you listen to comments? Well, you didn't listen well enough. WW was a success for generations to come, let me tell you something; you can't beat Linda Carter's legendary portrayal, but at least you should try (seems to me you are not trying). You think the females are going to see this show? I don't think so; WW was directed to Male audiences (we conformed 90% of the audience). Well, guess who is not watching the show? Forget the censorship, that was the 80's, why have we stepped back? We Love WW, you should not diminish her image.
i agree with you totally! Straps would be great!
Jessica Biel I believe would be a more natural WW. and put her in a costume like this. http://mydisguises.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/wonder_woman_pose_041.jpg
what is wrong with a shiny outfit.
note to NBC: Marsdon's original skirt and shorts didn't last 70 years because they were a bad idea. Linda Carter filled them out big time. If it aint broke don't fix it.
For a Grittier movie (like in a sewer) a character should have a grittier dulled down outfit.
For a Flashy movie (with explosions) a character should have a flashy outfit.
I have absolutely NO IDEA what Wonder Woman is about nor do I care, but this is just my comment.
From a personal perspective, in a city scape environment, a grittier outfit would suffice, but obviously the colors need to be rehashed.
Her facial expression needs to be toned down a bit too. It seems like shes faking it on the "pissed off" look.

Someone should be asking, "DOES THIS NEW OUTFIT WITH THE NAVY BLUE SLACKS MAKE MY BUTT LOOK BIG?" Personally, I'd keep it flashy but tone down the gold. That's what makes it look cheap. It's a superhero flick, for crying out loud...it should be larger than life, but not her butt.
this is a crap rendition....on to the next.
new vinyl costume = fail
new loose fitting mom jeans with stars glued on costume = EPIC FAIL
This is no longer a comment stream. It has evolved into something beyond human understanding.
What's with all the b.s.? In my opinion the "before" costume is more sleek, however the original should overrule. What's going to be her casual wear prior to morphing into WW ? The producers should also bear in mind the audience demographic; male. Remember, sex sells !!!!! Get rid of the jogging pants ! The actress appears quite beautiful, but it's longevity is going to rely on innovative story lines and plots, unless they plan on reviving the original ones. In any case if the show fails, it won't fall on the heads of the producers & writers, the actress is gonnna take the rap.
The key word in wonder woman is woman and she should be wearing a skirt and not manly pants. So the art of the sex she is makes her strong without being manly! This is not to be sexist but to be in-powering who you are!
The pants are horrid. I'm not going to watch this train wreck.
Diana Prince, Amazon. When we picture Amazon's. We don't picture them wearing trousers. usually loose dresses, or armor, kilts etc. She looks more like Captain America's Bucky than she does Wonder Woman! The current costume, cross of business suit/tacky stripper top/biker pants, or something you expect to see in WWF
