Wonder Woman Get-Up Now Slightly Less Sexy Halloween Costume
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. released the first photo of Adrianne Palicki in NBC's Wonder Woman reboot, and her get-up looked a lot like a sexy Halloween costume you could buy at Ricky's NYC. Fans weren't too pleased, however, and the network has since given Adrianne Palicki a more modest costume. Sorta. Take a look at Wonder Woman's new gear after the jump.
Note the roomier and latex-free pants. And red boots! Now that is a costume that you could really fight crime in. You could probably still trick or treat in it, too.

Not going to work!!
I agree with most of you. The first Wonder Woman project in 30 years and THIS is what we get??! We've waited so long. Couldn't you put a little more effort into it? It needs to be similar to Linda Carter's outfit but a bit modernized. Isn't there a way to make her feminine, sexy, kickass but at the same time, a little more practical? We don't want Wonder Woman covered head to toe but running around in those outfits looks a little dumb. If nothing else, use the 70's outfit.

I don't know... it looks kinda hot. Besides, it'll give my girlfriend another cosplay option to add to the Princess Leia slave bikini and the Colonel Wilma Deering shiny jumpsuit.

I don't agree with the new costume, it does not conform the the original, the pants have gotta go, Wonder Woman I watched had a sexy outfit on that made the teenagers go wild, so out with the stupid baggy pants
The pants and red boots are definitely not making a fashion statement. The pants do not look nice on her at all. Also, why is she making such an ugly face while she is running??
Like the costume matters. This show is going to fail and be off of the air in a short time.

I liked the first one, just wished the boots were Red, or just bring back the ORIGINAL OUTFIT... what is so wrong with the original, I mean if she was fighting in the winter and needed pants then the first outfit design would be good but with red boots with a heel to it not to high but enough to keep the outfit iconic, and put flat red boots on when the fight scene, the change it back, we have all seen it done, so nothing new with that idea, lipstick is good, just not so hook-ish, the hair need extenions and volume with some loose curls at least, the belt looks broken instead of looking stylish, that needs to be fixed, head band looks broken also, keep the original and just make it seem like she can bend it like a boomerang then place it back in place or something, BUT LET BE CLEAR... WONDER WOMAN WEARS A COSTUME, just not a cheap one 🙂
Send Wonder Woman to Irap to save people. She is our savior. Her outfit shouldn't be a problem. She looks gorgeous!
The actress is not a good choice not only cause she's not naturally dark haired (she obviously had her hair dyed), but she also has a bit common look. She's not as charismatic as Linda C and does not look like a powerful woman at all. Rather like a student running to catch a cab after a Halloween party. As for the costume...is this a joke?
Obviously the film budget was limited. I totally dislike the plastic and spandex combination. The boots are horrible. Too many creases. Why not making them skin tight?...or in this case pants tight?
Overall, CHEAP! oh...I got it, the new WW story starts when WW was unemployed and she didn't have money to pay for better costume and hair products! Everything makes sense now!

In my honest opinion, I don't like her costume. Neither is Wonder Woman material. Fans want to see her legs. Looks like Wonder Woman got insecure for some reason! If this were a challenge in Project Runway, Michael Kors would humiliate the design. Costume fail.
Those are both SOOO much better than either of the ridiculous outfits they have put Palicki in! I have been a HUGE Wonder Woman fan since I was very small (as a bored toddler I made myself a WW costume entirely out of toilet paper), so I feel somehow invested in them doing this right. I had a life-size Lynda Carter poster on my wall as a child as well, so I also admit being a bit prejudiced in that regard. However, the links you included show great ways to modernize the outfit (much less campy) without losing the original sexiness or WW's bad-ass look. Why can't you be both bad-ass and sexy without being whorish?
Also, as someone pointed out, she needs to wear shorts so she can have her constume on under her street clothes for quick change capability. Pants just woldn't work. A skirt wouldn't work, either. It just needs to be shorts, though certainly comfortable and flexible shorts would bemore practical than the ones LC wore in her day.
Looks like pajama pants... gross... the other outfit was better... but its still not what WonderWoman should look like.... shes still hot, but the outfit SUXZ

So they went with the frump style instead of sexy? Lovely, why not go all the way with UGGs and sweatpants, so she is more in tune with the current typical dress like s#*t woman? Better be sure she pushes out a muffin-top, too by the end of season 1 otherwise women will protest.
the wonder woman that everyone knows and loved was in a tight pair of blue shinny pants and high hills and that is what we all are wanting now so please put wonder woman back in what she was wearing in the old show of wonder woman.

I'm with most of the people on here back in Shorts and skirts would be much better and can't forget the heels.
What would probably be a great idea for this is have her change a few times throughout the show since many women tend to change a lot anyway. This way those watching can pick out what there favorites are. It would be a good change to Wonder Woman in a few outfits rather than just one. I've always wondered how there were every able to wash their clothes. lol But, Yes! Bring back the shorts.
