Nutty Twilight Fan Blows $60K To Hang Out On Breaking Dawn Set

twilight_120.jpgSo does this mean the recession is over? A zealous sparkly vampire fan reportedly shelled out more than $60,000 for the privilege of going to the Breaking Dawn set in Vancouver and hanging out with Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson to talk about God knows what. Now, granted the money is going to the Stand Up To Cancer charity, but still! That's a lot of money! And plus, for all that dough, he/she doesn't even get to fly directly into Vancouver. He has fly to Seattle and drive to Vancouver. That's like a three hour ride! Way to make him work for his money, Twilight.[ONTD]

Dixon...that website the story links to is horrible. Not so much the site itself, as it is the horrible people who comment and their horrible animated gifs. I'm scarred for the day.

The best part about all this? You know Stewart will be all "Oh, do I have to put up with another loser while I'm working??????"

  • Kelly says:

What's the big deal? Why judge someone giving 60,000 for a great cause and getting to hang out on the set of a movie they obviously love? I am sure this article would have been different had the prize been to visit the set of the Avengers or Spider-Man. Give the Twilight bashing a rest, doesn't it waste a lot of useful energy?

  • TurdBlossom says:

But bashing all things Twilight is so very, very, easy (taking little to no energy since the whole thing borders on parody anyway).

It's really stupid what some people do with money now these days. There are people like me and my family who struggle just to get by and wish we could win the lottery so that we can take care of all our bills. It is frustrating to hear someone blowing $60,ooo or more in cash just to meet some movie stars. Why not go and see them at Comic Con? You could interview them there and save the trouble from going all the way to Vancouver? I bet they got to pay a good bit for gas haha! And the thing is, they probably won't get up close and personal with them when they get there because Movie stars usually tend to avoid reporters .

    $60K is Ro-Pat's Fruit Roll-Up budget.
