· Wow... just wow. E! has ordered Bridalplasty, a new reality series that combines bridezillas with "extreme plastic surgery." Here's the hook: brides-to-be compete in various wedding-themed challenges and the winner gets to go under the knife and get her dream wedding. Because nothing says true love like drastically changing your appearance before your wedding. [THR]

· Fox has picked up the J.J. Abrams-produced Alcatraz, a show about "mysteries, secrets and the most infamous prison of all-time." The network's first request? A Michael Scofield cameo! [Deadline]

· Justified writer-producer Gary Lennon has sold a script to CBS that chronicles the first female police chief in Newark, N.J. Since it's CBS though, expect the female to become male so Alex O'Loughlin can star. [THR]

· The new ABC series My Generation has launched an iPad app that will "display polls, trivia and other content synchronized to the episode as it airs." What a great marketing idea: Hey fans, pay attention to your iPad and not the show! [THR/The Live Feed]

· Candice Bergen will play Cuddy's mom on House during a sweeps week arc in November. [EW]

· Speaking of sweeps stunts: John Larroquette will guest star on CSI: NY in November as well. [EW]
