· Judd Apatow will team up with South by Southwest sensation Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture) for an untitled comedy series at HBO about "the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s." Dunham will star, write, direct and co-produce the pilot (and probably cater the thing, too), while Apatow and writer Jenni Konner (Undeclared) will executive produce. If Dunham's show goes to series, it will be Apatow's first venture into primetime waters since Undeclared went off the air. Wonder which show runner will get into a heated e-mail argument with him this time around? [Deadline]

· Good news for 'tweens, college students and the growing unemployed population of America: MTV is reviving the daytime talk show. In the grand tradition of the long-canceled TRL, the network will premiere The Seven on Sept. 27. The half-hour entertainment news show will focus on the seven biggest pop culture stories of the day, while also featuring some musical performances. [THR/The Live Feed]

· Russian cable network TNT will air the first season of Glee starting next week with a couple of changes. The show will be dubbed in Russian (the songs will remain in English however; don't stop believin') and also go by a new title: Luzeri -- which is Russian slang for "losers." Says TNT's marketing: "When a Russian teenager is rejected by his fellows he goes home and switches on an Internet device...When schoolmates laugh at an American teenager they go and sing in a choir." Perestroika! [Variety]

· Great casting alert: Celia Weston will guest star as Cameron's mom on Modern Family this season. [TV Guide]

· Boardwalk Empire executive producer Martin Scorsese can't quit HBO. Public Speaking, Scorsese's documentary with and about Fran Lebowitz, was picked up by the network and will air in November. [Deadline]
