Our sister site Deadline is reporting that island aficionado J.J. Abrams is about to blitz TV networks with the spec script Alcatraz, written by Lost executive producer Elizabeth Sarnoff. Though the story's setting is the famous prison island in the San Francisco Bay, there is no word about the actual plot. I'm pulling for a Party Down-type show about bored-yet-beautiful tour guides!
