Lea Michele Plays 'My Favorite Scene' with Movieline!
As a roller coaster careened overhead at the Santa Monica Pier during this week's Fox press tour party, I met up with Glee's brightest star Lea Michele for a lightening round of Movieline mainstay My Favorite Scene. Who would have guessed that her favorite film moment of all time is probably the same one that her Glee character would have chosen?
After ducking as another roller coaster whizzed by, the Broadway actress-turned-TV star collected herself and immediately cited her most cherished movie moment. "In Funny Girl," the Emmy nominee began, as if the answer was a no-brainer. "When Barbra Streisand looks in the mirror and says, 'Hello, gorgeous.' That's the best. I just relate to that movie so much. It's my favorite movie ever."
If there ever is a remake of the Oscar-nominated film, Michele would certainly be a shoo-in after nailing the film's song "Don't Rain on My Parade" twice this year -- first, on the Glee episode "Semifinals" and again, live, during the 2010 Tony Awards.

I just adore Lea Michele's voice. When I first heard her sing, I was just swept away. She's really talented and a versatile actress. It's a good thing Hollywood found the star in her.
