Is Sir Paul McCartney the 'Big Artist' on the Post-Super Bowl Glee?

Just spitballing here, but: Remember when Glee creator Ryan Murphy said he was courting a "big artist" to appear on the post-Super Bowl edition of Glee next February? Well, it feels like he may have inadvertently let the cat out of the bag. Or, in this case, the Beatle out of the bag.

Murphy told E! that Sir Paul McCartney recently sent him a mixtape:

"The other day a package arrived at my office and I opened it up and it said 'Mixtape From Paul McCartney.' It was very sweet...It was a CD, I apologize. It was these amazing songs that I grew up with. And I said, 'Is this a joke?' It literally said 'Greeting (sic), from Paul.' This is a strange, strange world we live in, and it's awesome."

Awesome is one word for it, Ryan. Anyway, think this through for a second: Why would Paul McCartney send the creator of Glee a mix CD if he wasn't involved with the show in some capacity (unless you think iconic and knighted musical titans routinely burn CD's off their iTunes library and send them to showrunners)?

Further speculative proof: Murphy has said the post-Super Bowl artist will be a man (check) and McCartney certainly fits into the Super Bowl musical artist oeuvre, having been a halftime performer as recently as 2005. Ipso facto, Sir Paul is the secret Glee artist! Or maybe not.
