TCA: CBS Exec Hints that Sh*t My Dad Says Pilot Was...Sh*t

ShatnerDadSays225.jpgHappy TCAs, everyone! It's a raucous atmosphere over here at the Beverly Hilton, where CBS kicked off the morning with a Las Vegas-themed breakfast (slot machines, showgirls, and bloody mary carafes, oh my) before CBS executive Nina Tassler revealed her master plan for gay-ifying the network and talked frankly about the $#*! My Dad Says pilot, which no one here was a fan of.

The network has already recast the lead (Jonathan Sadowski will replace Ryan Devlin), a move that means that "most scenes" of the pilot will need to be reshot, Tassler explained -- probably a good thing, after the lukewarm impression it made on the network and critics alike.

Instead of focusing on the negatives, though, Tassler suggested, "Look at Big Bang Theory and Numb3rs. Those both needed to be recast and look how they turned out. So think of this like the Big Bang Theory [pilot]." You know: the one that demanded a 50 percent cast overhaul, the one that Bang creator Chuck Lorre admitted was a failure, and the one that Lorre just referenced again during the Big Bang Theory panel by saying "I should have burned that thing"? So by the transitive property, assume that the original $#*! My Dad Says tape is a complete failure that should probably be demagnetized before the full episode finds its way online, and that they're working on it.

regardless of the all controversy suggest this show be given an opportunity to find it's place on the tv schedule after all who remembers " Buffalo Bill" or "Commander-In-Chief" with Dabney Coleman and Geena Davis

Just one step closer to full-0n profanity and obscenity in network television. These moronic TV and movie execs don't care what they're doing to our culture so long as they make a buck.
Google "civility in america" for many good articles on how we're on a downward slide to being crass, obnoxious, "I don't care as long as I get mine" cretins.
