Hollywood Ink: Jeremy Irons Joins Margin Call

jeremy_irons_ink_225.jpg· Jeremy Irons has now joined the cast of the day-in-the-life-of-the-economic-meltdown drama Margin Call, in which he'll star as the CEO of a Wall Street firm teetering on the brink of collapse. It's not likely much of a role -- the indie is already almost halfway through its shoot -- but considering the previously announced cast of Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Stanley Tucci and Mary McDonnell, this thing is going to have one hell of a cluttered poster. [Deadline]

Thomas Lennon doubles up, Guns, Girls and Gambling gets at least one of those elements, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.

· Actor, writer and noted porn critic Thomas Lennon has attached himself to two new developing projects: A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas, in which he'll star as a "suburban dad and neighbor of Harold's" ensnared in the action; and What's Your Number?, appearing as one of Anna Faris's exes. [THR]

· Megan Park (Secret Life of the American Teenager) has signed on to the pulpy indie Guns, Girls, and Gambling, in which she'll feature in an undisclosed role opposite Gary Oldman, Dane Cook and Christian Slater. I dunno, probably a gun, right? [THR]

· Slow news day alert: Sony is developing a movie based on Christian the Lion, a real-life tale of an Australian family who raised a lion cub, released it into the wild, and went off to reunite with it. And apparently survived! Kleenex not included. [LAT]
